Waffle House — Restaurant in Flowery Branch

The food was delicious, and the service was fast and excellent! I like to order the All-star breakfast. However, I like to start with the eggs, hashbrowns and bacon, and have the waffle (dark) cooked while I'm eating everything else. The beginning of my meal was perfect, and they started the waffles while we were eating. Unfortunately we began talking to the cook while we were eating, and the waffles ended up getting just a bit too dark. He didn't hesitate at all, and quickly put down two more waffles for us (my friend also likes her waffle after her other food). These came out crispy and perfectly dark brown-just the way we like them! Some waffle houses have tried to serve us waffles that were slightly burned, but this one is much more conscientious. They kept our drinks filled when we wanted them topped off, and they made sure we were happy with everything that we ordered. Thank you for a great dinner and great service! The only reason I took off a point was because I saw some ants coming into the restaurant. It's the closest waffle house to me and have ordered there a few times. My orders are usually wrong and they never put plastic ware in the bag. Called up there a little while ago to place a pick up order so that my son's fiance could go pick it up for me. I was told to hold for a second and they literally laid the phone down and left me on hold, hearing everything they were doing for over 20 minutes. My son's fiance went up there and ordered for me because I have 2 fractured feet and couldn't go up there for myself. My son's fiance knew one of the guys working there so se sent him a private message to let him know what had happened and apparently, he dates one of the waitresses and this waitress used her boyfriends phone to send a very rude and very unprofessional message back, she was insulting her and name calling because she is so jealous if her boyfriend who I guess is the supervisor at this particular location. Will not be ordering...

Attempted to call in a Togo order. The waitress answered the phone and I told her I wanted to place a to go order. She said hold one moment. I listened to the operations of the store for 7 minutes. My wife, who was picking up the order arrived at the store and went in to pick up order ( I could hear her on there phone). She informed them I was still on phone to place order. Waiter said “oh well”. It has now been 10 minutes. The waitress offered no apology just hung up the phone . The food is good, the staff, service and management are all deplorable. Waffle House should fire them all and start over. This was a large order. The food and most definitely the service is much better across the street at Delizio’s. You should give them a try, 1000 times...
