So glad we decided to try this place out last min, everything was outstanding from the moment we walked in the door throughout the entire stay here. The service was fantastic, (I wish I knew her name) she interacted with our children, gave great suggestions on dessert, she was super attentive but not hovering over us. Our waitress was smiling while working, the other waitress stopped and talked with our boys (about lizards 🦎 😀) she was also in great spirits while working. The owner was in the kitchen when we arrived, as we were dining he came out to the dining room and greeted each table as he toted a buss tub and helped clean the tables were needing to be re-set. He was also in great spirits and I think it was very kind of him to come help the waitresses clean the dining room. The food was so delicious 😋. I had chicken flautas, my husband had Carne asada, and our boys both had quesadillas. Then we all enjoyed sharing a delectable dessert called xango 🤤. 10/10 I recommend this cute little spot, and we will certainly be back! P.S the cheese dip and salsa...
Read more"I think this is the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten"! My wife and I had such high hopes for this small out of the main town area restaurant. We visit small towns and try various restaurants. Unfortunately, this was a real disappointment. The service was quick, the food came out fast, and the atmosphere has a friendly local establishment feel. The food...well my burrito supreme was lukewarm and was not a lot of burrito. The guacamole was a runny green mess. My wife had enchiladas and they too were not hot. Her cheese was sparse and it was hardly melted. Both had this very strange ground beef that reminded me of the stuff we got at our high school cafeteria. It was runny, very finely chopped up mush. The sauces were like a Campbells soup with a little something added in. However, the chips and salsa were good! Maybe we ordered the wrong food, or maybe we were there on an off night, but it was...
Read moreThis restaurant had the most tasteful food I've had in a long time! The chips were so light and fresh, they were great for me to be able to eat, especially with teeth problems. I didn't have to soak them in the salsa for a change. The atmosphere was really good. Service was good as well. It wasn't like great over the top, but good enough for what we needed. We were able to get our order as we wanted it. For instance, my sister wanted her chicken on the side because she and I were gonna share our plates 1/2 & 1/2, and I don't eat meat. They had no problems with doing that. Will def 💯 go back if I ever get the chance!!! For the vegetarians out there, there was a bean chimichanga that was to die for! It was so amazing 👏 Now of course, this is all imo...
