Lolita's Authentic Cuisine — Restaurant in Folsom

Not really sure why anyone would say this is authentic Mexican food. It was bland all around. The chicken mole poblano tasted like it was burned - which was a bummer as that’s my go to dish. My husband’s beef dish had zero spice or flavor. The beans were a runny mess and we had to add salt to make them edible. The only thing that was decent was the rice and the salsa with the chips. Zero ambiance. Zero. Whoever the gentlemen was that “served” us was just gruff and never once checked on us after we got our drinks. We actually had to ask someone to come take our food order and there were not that many patrons - but there were lots of people working. This is definitely not a place I would go back to as we have so many other better Mexican restaurants...

It was the last day of the Entertainment coupon books and I wanted to use this coupon there so just to make sure I call them up they said no problem and they would be open a very nice drive over there nice little shopping center walked in very, dating let us sit where we like very very good service very friendly the chips and salsa were extremely good nice warm chips the food was acceptable but I wouldn't call it the best Mexican place I've been to my husband did not like the chili verde he said it just didn't taste good to him but he'd like the rest of the stuff the cheese enchilada was tasty and my sister said her food was good will I be back for sure PS the beer was ice cold just the way I like it👍🙎👍🍺🍻 and my puppy like her...
