I went to the restaurant this evening at about 4:20 PM. I ordered the chicken meal number 10 I didnât take time to look at the food before I went to my vehicle looked at the food. The chicken was old and was not fresh. I always have had a good experience with this place and for the most part, the food is pretty good .There was a lady that worked there that I wasn't familiar with .I see and talk to the owner when I come in and order my food but, today for some reason, she was nasty, and rude along with her call partner I asked them can I return the food I wasnât asking for any money back. I just wanted some fresh chicken. I was told that I could not return the chicken and they do have a sign there on the wall, which I did not read, I didnât notice sign was visible but when you touch the food they don't acknowledge your return which I was unaware of! theyâre going to throw it in the trash anyway I hope so, the service that I got today the attitude was uncalled for I feel like a racial issue was also there with the other partnerr not so much with the owner because ,like I said every time I went there she was always kind and nice and very respectful but today was a totally different atmosphere. I donât know what happened , but I believe this is my assumption that the partner has some racial issue, and my visit with them did not go too well today .so I will not ever return back to buy food. The dinner that I bought. I left it there and I didnât even want my money back. I just wanted fresh chicken hopefully whoâs reading this will have a better experience than I did today. Very disappointed to the fact that, having a chicken place here in this area was a plus for a lot of the residents here, but I will spread the word. Thanks for...
Read moreMy family and I have been eating here since moving to Fontana. We discovered this location, because we had a restaurant in the town we previously lived in and love it. I will definitely say that not every Louisiana restaurant is the same. We thought we would try a different location in Fontana, but their discourteous way they answered their phone, discouraged us from even placing an order, so we hung up and never called that location again. The woman who answered, sounded like the last thing she wanted to do at that particular moment in time, was to take a food order. And even this was only after calling several times to a phone that would never get answered! The Cherry Ave. location is the complete opposite. Whenever we have ordered, the phone is always answered immediately, and the kind lady and gentleman who answer's the phone, always sound very welcoming and friendly. They are patient when taking your order and repeat it precisely how they received it. Whenever we go in to pick up our food, we are greeted with a smile, as though they couldn't wait for us to arrive. Their location is a little further from our home, but we gladly make the trip. Their food is delicious and fresh every time. We have never had a bad experience there and this is the only place we go for Louisiana chicken. Thank you for making our experience a...
Read moreI was looking to eat somewhere new this time around and remembered that there were two places I hadn't tried right near each other. I decided to try the chicken first and I hoped it was better than the place I had tried years ago. Well let me tell you right from the start that this was so much better than the place I had years ago. I don't know what they do different here but I could eat from this new store again and again. I had a nice conversation with the owner and she was very nice and upfront about the reality of what this economy has done to all of us. I could definitely relate. What I noticed just minutes after I got there was the amount of customers that were flowing in. Always a good sign. I even struck up a conversation with another customer as we both waited for our orders. I love that they don't cook it until you order it. All in all, I had a good first experience and I will return.
UPDATE - I am still enjoying the hot freshly made chicken I get here. I could say that I am a...
