Peruvian Restaurant Route 66 — Restaurant in Fontana

Visited today with my boyfriend & we got the saltado dish. I got mine with shrimp and my boyfriend got his with lomo (beef) I didn’t realize mine was a dish with fries and rice but reading the lomo saltado description on the menu it said it came with rice and fries. Still unsure of what kind of dish I was expecting, it was tasty ! The lomo meat could’ve used a little bit more seasoning but overall still really good. We live in the neighborhood so we’ll probably be visiting again soon or ordering takeout ! The staff was very friendly & service was fairly quick. I can honestly say without a doubt Peruvian Restaurant Route 66 is one of the best restaurants in Fontana! The food there is SO GOOD, reasonably priced and quick to our table. And the staff there is SUPER FRIENDLY and VERY PROFESSIONAL! We tried the arroz chaufa (both carne and pollo), the tallarín con carne, and the 1/2 rotisserie chicken with fries and a salad and ALL THREE WERE REALLY DELICIOUS! For dessert we ordered the 6 Alfajores (cookies) which were so GOOD they were worth the $8 we paid for them. I am very much looking forward to returning here again and again in the future and I wholeheartedly encourage more people to discover this magnificent restaurant...

We loved Pollo a la brasa delicious, yucca yummy, plantains with a hint of spice mouth watering plus served with fresh bread which was great. Waitress very kind and attentive. We are looking forward to visiting again. What needs improvement is more waiters salt and pepper shakers at the table. Your sides white rice and beans are to plain in Flavor. Waitress brought chpped red onions with lime and cilantro , that was perfect on top of the white rice and beans. Now overall this Peruvian restaurant will have Muriel.
