REINO 44 — Restaurant in Fontana

Me and a friend went there for the first time after work for dinner. The atmosphere and the customer service was excellent! We ordered our meal to go...we ordered the birria w/consume, chicken & cheese enchilada and the surf and turf burrito We we arrived home, getting out of the car the paper bag was so full of oil on the bottom that the food fell through. After picking the food up off the ground and going in the house to sit down for the meal, we found that it was less than enjoyable. First off, the chicken & Cheese enchilada, we asked for green sauce and they gave us red, the cheese enchilada had all the cheese at one end and nothing but tortilla at the other end and the chicken was extremely dry. The rice was all over the place, probably because the food fell out of the bag because the bag was covered in oil. The beans we so dry that you could turn the spoon upside down and they would not fall off. We then tried the birria and it was so mealy that it was uneatable the meat also contained huge chunks of fat, and the sauce was very oily. Then we opened up the surf and turf burrito to find mounds of oil and the meat was super griselly every other bite I was pulling grissle and fat out of my mouth. We ended up throwing the entire meal in the garbage that cost us $54. This was a waste and we will most likely not eat...

ive came here before had great food and hospitality that made me want to come back so i came back today for mothers day and theres a few empty tables and this is a small place with multiple servers so not busy came in and was greeted by a male server with arm sleeved tattoos that was very clearly in a rush and only wanted to push sales and alcohol we asked about the menu but were cut off as we were speaking asked about other drinks they offered but he again insisted on alcohol overall horrible hospitality the food was okay mojo de ajo and ribeye were decent the molcajate had everything in it burnt so do what you want with this info wont be...

If I could give this place a zero I would. No hospitality whatsoever. The owner or the white guy behind the bar paying more attention to his wife then customers needs to do better. Maybe go and check the restrooms as they were dirty and there were no paper towels to dry your hands paper on the floor not well kept. When they finally sat us down they had one waiter mind you this place only has 7 tables. Took forever to take our order no one acknowledged us. No drink menus or utensils given. Our food came after waiting over 30min and it was wrong. Yeah will never give business to anyone that doesn’t care about...
