Came in on a day off work to finally try this place, and completely satisfied that I did. Ordered the kitchen sink omelette with home fries on the side, and it did not disappoint. It came to me partially split open, but that was just a nice preview of what I was getting into. The home fries weren't quite to my personal taste, but in no way were they improperly cooked, just not my style. For the price of under fifteen dollars and being unable to physically finish the meal, can't beat it compared to anywhere else with that price and quality for a good breakfast.
Friendly staff, and very accommodating. Their kitchen sink omelette has home fries in it, all I had to do was ask and they gladly put them on the side instead. Had a top notch experience. Looking forward in the future to try their non-breakfast menu. If the quality of my breakfast was any indication, I doubt my outlook will change when I do.
My only 'complaint' is that I would love if I could eat breakfast here more often before I go to work, but considering I leave town around 5:30 in the morning to travel, can't really complain lol.
Edit after trying their non-breakfast menu. Going down a star because of food quality, specifically the fries. Went for chicken wings, onion rings, and fish and chips. The chicken wings were cooked near perfectly, only negative is that I specifically asked for spicy as can be, and there was zero spice. Legitimately less spice than pepper flakes from a standard pizza place. Still cooked to perfection despite that. Onion rings were pretty top notch, didn't have a single onion slide out from the batter If they're frozen, I want to know the brand. Fish was flakey and delicious.
Two strong negatives though, the fries were really, really bad. Like microwaved bad. No fry had an aspect of crunch or flavor. Also asked for vinegar, which would typically be malt vinegar for fried food. Instead, red wine vinegar. The homemade tartare sauce was decent, but only enough sauce for one of the three pieces of fish. An overall mixture of good and bad, but not going to be overly negative since overall it was still tasty, and apart from the fries, I devoured the meal. I only hope this place improves, the only legitimately good restaurant in this town despite my negative points, which hopefully lets...
Read moreDined here today, 06/24/23, with five adults and one toddler. What the restaurant lacks in theme and décor it makes up for in the food and service. We ordered a wide variety of entrees, including a tuna melt, chicken parm hoagie, chef's salad, mozzarella sticks, quesadilla, and a full breakfast with 2 ginormous pancakes, eggs, toast and sausage patties. Everything that was ordered was delicious and the serving sizes were more than enough. Our server was especially nice to my wife and toddler, getting my toddler her own water in a to-go cup when she noticed my daughter was upset that she did not get a beverage like everyone else; and, adding an additional mozzarella stick to my wife's plate after learning my wife is expecting with another bun in the oven. The little things go a long way. Aside from all the positives shared above, the only gripe I have is the wait time for our food (40 minutes). We were okay with this, though, as we all had a lot of chatting and catching up to do as a group. We would certainly dine here again. I don't remember our server's name, but she did a great job. Ohhh, one last thing: they gave our toddler a huge bag of crayons and 4 full coloring books to use while we waited for our...
