I want to give this location good press due to the manager's efforts to make things right when they don't go as expected. I typically don't eat fast food, but I am in a very challenging season as a full-time university student who also works (& I am a grown-up in my 40's with all of the grown-up obligations, too), so I find that I need to pick-up something fast often. Also, tight budget. As I have the Sonic App, I get the rewards notifications & note them, plus the 1/2 price drink options when using app comes in handy. There are a few different Sonics that I go to when needed, based on my 2 hour commute some days, and I have been frustrated multiple times when my order has not come out as expected (why have the option in the app to ask for "extra" or "easy" on certain ingredients if it gets ignored?- and sometimes I have chosen the "extra" option, paid for it, and received ZERO of that item). But here's the deal- the mgr at the Forsyth location cares. He followed up on a report I filed, which was not even for his location- tho there had been one a year prior- & reached out to me personally to make it right. There was another issue recently, and I reached out to him by phone BEFORE filing a report, knowing that any report would be seen by HQ and would just have him reach out anyway, and knowing he cares. He went above and beyond to make that issue corrected...in a way that makes future visits nicer as well. My advice? If you have an issue, call the location & ask for the mgr before filing a report. Rather than making the location get dinged for the actions of one careless worker, give them the chance to show that they do care. This mgr understands the vale of a dollar and your choice for where to spend it, and I feel confident that I can go to this location, and if my order is not as it should be, they will work to correct it. Read moreWe had two orders. The first one they answered quickly and was friendly. The gentleman that brought out the first order was very nice. My boyfriend decided he wanted sunbathing to eat and we pushed the button. Waited 10 min and pushed it again and waited. After 10 more min we moved to another stall. Pushed that button waited 10 min no answer again. Pushed it again, finally an answer. Mind you they had been at least 4 cars go through the drive thru that got waited on no problem. When o told the crew leader that brought out our second order, only a hamburger, he acted like he didn't care. He didn't apologize nothing. I will call and talk to the store manager. We have never had an issue like this before. I realize they may be a little short handed but when you serve 4 cars in the drive thru and no one that has pushed the button in a stall, there is a problem. A car pulled up next to us and they left due to no answer. When we left another car was waiting for them to answer. And yes the speakers were working. Crew leader needs demoted or something. Read moreNow this was a 5 star Sonic visit! :) We were in... and out.... enjoyed the famous Sonic HAPPY HOUR!!! What a nice experience to not have to wait in line, getting agitated at the other patrons for not knowing how to order! We pulled the car up to the fancy new ordering boards, nice big, clear, lettering with quick displays advertising the specials. The boards also informed us where we were in the order process and then wow!!! Our food and drinks arrived delivered by a very friendly young lady. I noticed she repeated the order back to us before she even started handing us the brown bags filled with mouth watering bacon cheeseburgers, steaming hot tator tots, and two signature mints located in the bottom of the sack! The best thing?? We had two Route 44 Cherry Limeaide's that cost us half the normal price!! Oh yes gotta love Happy Hour!! The whole carhop dining experience was great this time around.
