This Iowa Egg ride keeps going with more Deviled Eggs! This is the greatest steak and eggs concept I can think of folks. The Casablanca Steakhouse in Fort Dodge, Iowa has some beautiful ribeye steaks and you have the option of Deviled Eggs as your side. Bring it on! 4 Iowa locations down and 8 to go! #IowaDeviledEggs #steak #iowa #Eggs

Visited on 4/9/25 between 4:05-4:40pm. Only a party of 4 besides myself in a space that could hold approx. 150. Somewhat of a makeshift restaurant in the same space the hotel uses for its continental breakfast. Dingy with generic decor. Obviously doesn't get much for patronage (suspect mostly hotel guests or the trailer park next door) considering the coat rack area is just being used as chair storage, lack of staff. Only 1 person working the front of the restaurant & 1 working the hotels front desk area, which after leaving noticed outside socializing with a drive-by. The hotel is also being used as a U-haul drop-off site. Their 3 banquet rooms are not only door locked, but also padlocked as well. Also have a feeling the nothern end of the hotel is the only part being used judging by where all the guests are parked.... so obviously the overall property doesn't get much for business. Understandable when its .5 mile out in the middle of nowhere, and not much in terms of dining options (5) for the entire West side of the City/river either. Had the restaurants Lasagna meal special which was filling but overall bland.

Came to eat with family, waited a hour & a half for food that was still raw & frozen in the middle, didn’t even receive the full meal we ordered. The bartender said the waitress was supposed to take the meal off & did nothing but gave a $1 discount. An only being checked on once in the full 2 hours we sat there as the waitress avoided & took long ways around us! To top it off, as we were walking out of the hotel there was a freaking COCKROACH just hanging out on the back of my boyfriend’s sweatshirt!!! Was told to call the owner Paige when she returned Monday. Have called multiple times trying to get this solved & never received calls back! Between both family’s we spent well over $150! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND! Attached is a photo of the roach we killed at the hotel after walking out of the restaurant

We were coming to town for my step sons birthday, he just recently moved there from another part of the state for a job. He mentioned two places to eat and drink. I looked at the reviews of Casablanca Steak house . I was skeptical about going. What a mistake it would have been if I listened to the reviews. I had 14 oz NY Strip, it was some of the best meat I’ve put in my mouth. My wife and sons meal was superb. Yes, the wait staff maybe a little slow, but they are doing the best job they can trying to keep up to the people that was there. You won’t be disappointed, awesome food, fantastic drinks, very friendly wait staff and casual dining. I’ll definitely be back when...
