Vegan On The Go — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

This place has amazing food, but the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. This is the 3rd time in a row that I’ve had a bad experience in house. They incredibly disorganized and they take over an hour to get your food out even if you are the only customer they have. The staff is very rude and forgetful, they have messed up my order the last three times I’ve been here and I still came back today because I genuinely love the food, but after this experience I will never be back again. I was the first customer in at 12:57pm and I was told that my food would take about 20 minutes, since they were just getting set up (mind you, they open at 11am). Fine, no problem, I wait 25 minutes and walk back inside to get my food and not only is it not ready, there’s a group of other customers who came in after me who are also waiting on their food. I waited for over an hour and right in front of my face, they gave other orders priority. Instead of tending to the customers who had been patiently waiting for their food, they made the decision to serve everyone who just arrived first and keep us waiting even longer. When I brought up the issue to the staff, they offered no solutions and one girl even rolled her eyes and walked away. They gave 4 different people their orders who had just walked in and told me to keep waiting. They completely lost track of who came in when and were rude on top of that. Every restaurant makes mistakes, but this was over the top and poorly handled by the staff. After an hour and a half, I finally got my food, only for my order to be WRONG. Don’t come here unless you have hours of your day that you can block out. The best part is that the store is uncomfortably hot and they have 3 chairs available so we can were just standing around...

I wanted to write this review two months ago but I decided to wait until after I gave them another chance. It’s safe to say they will not be receiving my my business anymore. Each time I have experienced horrible customer service. The first time I ordered the failed to make it known a certain drink wasn’t available until my DoorDash driver got there while being on the phone with one of the employees I decided to make sure my meal was at least correct. When trying to confirm the things I did not want on my burger he straight up told me he couldn’t do anything about it. So i had to pick all the things off the burger I requested to have off in my order. What’s the point of the notes if you aren’t going to utilize them. As well as today I decided to place my order online directly with them in hopes they’ll pay attention to the note. Everything went through and they took their payment. Shortly after I just receive a random email saying my order is canceled with no reason why. I called them for an hour no answer. It wasn’t until my confirmed pick up time someone answered the phone. I asked why my order was cancelled the first employee couldn’t help me. She then asked someone else and they said it was because they were out of meat. Why wasn’t I called before or after my order was cancelled to let me know then what was going on. I then asked for my money to be refunded and they said they can’t. Which is beyond me how do you have authorization to cancel my food but not process a refund. I’ve been trying to get in contact with the manager who is the only one that can process the refund. I can’t believe its Not Meat!!! My Business Partner introduces me to a Vegan fully plant based restaurant in Ft Lauderdale FL. Called Vegan on the go . He told me about how the locals and people from near and far have been flocking to Fl. To see if this Impossible burger they are cooking up was really what people have been going Vegan over. Confessions : I hate tofu and I am a meat eater !!! I am the most picky eater on top of that . I was a bit timid to even go because I felt I wouldn’t be able to find something to eat . But to my surprise this place felt like my favorite local small Burger spot. You know on ones . But all plant no bull!!!

They have a creative menu had me ready to try it all ! And they have impossible burger that was the House Fave you know that was #1 on the partners list I choose the tacos thinking that if I don’t like it then maybe it won’t be so bad because tacos have only a little meat ! my Sister the non meat eater got the Hummus Wrap.

Moment of truth once the order was complete I took a bite of my Impossible tacos . As I chew I’m trying to figure out ............. are they sure this is not meat!!!!!! Then my mind changed to damn this taste just like meat ...... then I thought of if this taste like meat is meat really meat ........ then I was likeeeeeeee This is AMAZING ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ I must say this burger is amazing burger it just so happened to have no meat in it!!
