Giving a one star not because of the food, the food is delicious. It’s the customer service. When we come to eat we usually deal with owner and he is always pleasant and helpful. Today we had two women with horrible customer service. Talk about a chip on ones shoulder. My wife and Friend were looking at the menu to order, because it was my friends first time, and I was looking at flyers when both women proceeded to rush them and speak in a rough manner when I turned to order the lady started speaking to me. Speaking over my wife and wouldn’t even look at her. Not sure if it was a racist issue, but when you run a business a bit of friendliness to all color would go along way. If it wasn’t for the owner we would be taking our business else where. Very dis appointed in the customer service! What really topped it off was every women after my wife they were very pleasant. I called in a order for fish, no salt, no gravy. The mother was extremely rude. Her response was "NO, I DON'T FIX MY FISH LIKE THAT". I explained it was for a diabetic and the person will still eat it. She said NO. I assumed since the food was prepared fresh and I'm the paying customer, what was the problem, she was not eating the fish the customer is. She was loud and rude, would not give me a chance to talk, I just wanted to explain that the fish will not be returned. She was still rude, she end up hanging up on me. I try to keep business in the community, but this is the result that causes me to go outside my community and receive EXCELLENT customer service elsewhere. You don't need a special class to teach you how to treat people, just treat and talk to them the way you want to be treated...

This food was absolutely disappointing and disgusting. I ordered the jerk chicken lunch special that comes with rice & peas and cabbage and a drink. I also asked for oxtail gravy on the rice. That jerk chicken was not jerk chicken... at all. I'm glad I didn't pay for what I originally wanted, oxtail, because that oxtail gravy alone was disgusting as well. Both the chicken and the oxtail gravy was ridiculously salty. The chicken didn't taste like jerk either and everyone who's Jamaican knows jerk and Oxtail when it hits your mouth. Also i think most people put some coconut milk in their rice and peas and they didn't have that either so it was just colored white rice and very mushy.
