As a gringo who was raised in Oaxaca Mexico by missionary parents for the first half of his life, I had the opportunity to experience authentic Mexican food. Street vendors were the best. My first time in the area I drove by and decided to turn around and check them out. Iâve tried a few other places but none of them come close to these guys. And it shows. The owner is a solid dude with a solid plan with tacos, quesadillas and tortas that bring this white guy (gringo) right back to my childhood in down town Oaxaca, walking around the zocalo, seeing all the vendors selling their little trinkets, jewelry, black pottery rugs, mats and blankets and tradition mayan clothing.    Read moreWe would plan a trip around going here again! Yes, it was that good! We sat at a picnic table, they had several. There are several food trucks at this intersection, so make sure you get to the right one! We tried the pastor, asada, chorizo, and tongue tacos, and they were all delicious. Sooo delicious! Served traditionally on corn tortillas with onion and cilantro with added grilled onion, which I never knew I needed. â„ïž The salsa verde is a must. Maybe we can stop on our way back home!!...

The food unfortunately Was a little small (see picture) but inexpensive. I got the grilled beef, marinated pork, and Mexican sausage tacos. Each of them meats were a bit dry as if theyâve been cooking for a while. I got my lunch at 1:30 PM. The taco tortilla shells were extremely greasy and even though I ordered it to go I didnât get any napkins, which was...
