I just came into your restaurant with my mother. The man who served us-- first of all, once our food and drinks were served he never came back to our table, never offered us a refill on our drinks. My mother had to find the tea and refill the drinks herself. I told her not to tip him. I don't tip bad service. Then he overcharged us and argued with my mother about the bill. I always order Tacos D'Asada, which comes with rice and beans, $10.99. When my food was brought out, it was the 3 tacos only, no rice, no beans. I told my mother to forget it, they would would adjust the price when we pay. But he refused. He said it was 10.99 for the 3 tacos and 11.99 for rice and beans. That's not true. 3 soft tacos are 7.99. Tacos D'Asada is 10.99 with rice and beans, but 11.99 includes a margarita. This man doesn't even know his own menu. Regardless, this is not how you run a business. That is bad business. The customer is always right. And WE WERE RIGHT. I could've made a scene right there in the restaurant, but we were gracious. We paid it and left. But we will not come back. There are other, better Mexican restaurants in town. And I want everyone to see this review and KNOW what kind of people are running Mi Casita. All you had to do was take responsibility and change the price, but you argued and you were wrong. You overcharged us and gave us horrible service and a...
Read moreThis place matches the name of the town which it resides Payne...painfully horrible. Very rarely have I been to a Mexican restaurant that was disappointing. This place is beyond disappointing. The place was dirty. The queso dipping sauce was like $7, thin as water, and disgusting to the taste. The queso only got dipped one time and went to waste on our table. I have ordered chimichangas almost religiously from many different locations and they are always adequate to delicious; this was the first time that I've been completely disappointed. The ground beef was disgusting. The chimichangas' tortilla wrapping, which is supposed to be crisply deep-fried, was soggy and soaked with grease. Our waiters name was playboy, (derision implicit). Their customer service was horrible, they seem to have very very little focus on customer service and simply trying to churn out a bunch of captive customers from their little Podunk town who have no other options. If it wasn't for the lack of options in that area I can assure this place would be closed. I strongly urge the residents of Fort Payne to let the market do its job and stop going here and make them change or close...
Read moreThis is the worst Mexican restaurant I have been to the owner Was very rude when they messed up my order. I had ordered 2 chicken fajitas for 2, A large cheese dip and a large salsa to go. It took them 35mins to get this order to me for 1. 2nd I had asked for fresh jalapenos on the fajitas which should be on there In the first place but no I had to ask for them. They put pickled jalapenos on the fajitas I've never heard of someone doing that before. Then my cheese dip was gross it looked like it had been sitting out for three days and tasted like it too. And worst of all when I called to ask them to make it right the owner was being an butt. I told him politely what was wrong and he calls me a liar that the cheese is fine that he is miraculously tasting it the second after I told him that its sour. And then he calls me a liar saying I didn't ask for fresh jalapenos when I know I did I certainly dont want pickled jalapenos on a fajita. So never will I go back. Also the meal that I ordered was $85. Seem like the owner doesn't care about his customers. He...
