This is actally my 4th time eating here.I'm trying to extend grace and support to more black owned businesses. The first time we ordered from here my daughter was given glazed oxtail when we stated plain..no refund, no come get another plate, sorry nothing..Who eats glazed oxtails?..2nd time I had rib tip dinner that was more grissle then meat bland unseasoned rice mac I didnt like..3rd time I tried the wings garlic honey ..the chicken wasn't seasoned at all.it only has sauce on it and it was friend / grilled and I didnt like the combination..4th time was today 05.25/25 Food was ordered. I ordered grilled porkchop but, they decided to give me fried pork chop.It was soggy in the middle because of the flour not being fried all the way..on top of that. that's still not what I asked for. I called and asked about it and it was stated by a young man that there was no grilled pork chops ( my food was delivered soo)..the fried okra was over cooked or from yesturday. It was refried and rebattered..the batter was excessively thick. I just ate some yesturday so I know whatcthey should taste like on a better day...All in all I'm totally dissatisfied with the food and my overall experience here ..IMO its not worth it. I havn't had one meal and was completely satisfied .If you don't have something simply say that Don't just deliver whatever...you want me to have I dont have time to make this up .Yall are expensive but the food doesnt justify the price. Youre hitting and missing with the taste buds. The dirty rice always looks good but, taste veery bland. .At least at Stoney's the meat actually is soft edible and seasoned, if they don't have something they not going to just serve you something else..with out acknowledging..This was actually strike 4 and I'm truly moving on. I was really holding my peace until today. Please try to do better! I love supporting us but, most havn't arrived in the area of what being polite courteous and providing customer service really is. I called regarding having bbq sauce added to my order the 2nd time ordering from here and the young lady didn't seem very pleasant over the phone. You may say what you must but.I promise myself I will not be returning back here not even if I'm starving.. not trying to be mean or degrading Just tired of giving my money to a place that doesnt satisfy me 100% I shouldnt have to be dissapointed when I'm spending my money Good day! They called around 5:06pm on 5/25/25 sun almost felt like an indirect/ confrontation about what was stated in this review. I stated they messed my food up several times and I'm done; she said ok and rudely hung the phone up slamming it...
Read moreMy wife was told about this place by our daughter. Said it was the best. Wife goes. Said the same. I drive all over this country. I’ve had some pretty good barbecue. Ole Rays up there South of Atlanta. Pretty good. Dickies barbecue ain’t bad. Nearly anyplace in Texas is gonna be fairly decent. Little did I know that this hometown gem sat right here. Boys and girls, friends and neighbors, now you hear this; There’s not a better barbecue restaurant or joint this old dude has ever been to that can hold a candle to Favor Barbecue. Now, we got our order to go, but we arrived earlier than the online order said, so we waited a bit for our food. A wait I would most certainly do again. The interior has great ambiance and there’s obvious that on certain days, live music. The drum kit gave it away. If they only had big truck parking, they would never be able to close. There’s a liquor store right next door. They share the parking lot. It’s a win win!!! Most of the barbecue joints I go to have smokers. They’re never being used. Here, there are two of them. They are being used and whoever is using them knows EXACTLY what they’re doing. Long may you cook. Don’t stop and don’t change a thing!!! Congratulations on an excellent menu and the food that is second to none. One last thing, the potato salad; I cannot stand mustard in potato salad. If it’s just a tinge yellow, I’ll pass. My wife had the potato salad and made me try it. Best potato salad I’ve...
Read moreAfter the first time I tried the bbq ribs from Flavor BBQ, I was hooked and I’ve been coming back ever since! Thankfully, it’s close to my job, so I can easily stop by on my way home. On weekends when the cravings hit, we always wish they were closer or that they’d open a branch in Port St. Lucie.
We’ve tried other BBQ spots nearby, but nothing compares. Their baked beans are amazing, perfectly sweet and salty with rich flavor, nothing like ones we’ve had elsewhere that tastes like canned beans...and their ribs? oh, tender, smoky, fall-off-the-bone perfection! Yum! The brisket? Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right every single time. They have a huge variety of sauces, and every one we’ve tried is packed with flavor and pairs perfectly with the meat.
If you love BBQ, you owe it to yourself to try Flavor BBQ. I honestly think they’re one of the best—if not the best—in the entire area. Flavor BBQ, if you’re reading this… Port St....
