We have been wanting to try this place for a few months now but always seem to forget about it when it comes time to choose where to go although, we do love that it's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding areas. We went last night and brought our dog Brownie in hopes they would allow dogs on their patio and they do! I would love to say our server's name but I can't remember anything but the absolute buffet we were to the no-see ums having a party in their screened-in-patio. Our server was nice and professional, and now I completely understand why she spent no more time on the patio than was absolutely necessary. We ordered the hot honey garlic wings and garlic knots for an appetizer. By the time they got to us, we were thankful for a distraction from the literal smorgasbord we were becoming to our little microscopic friends. The wings were crispy, wet, and delicious! When the garlic knots came out we thought it was someone else's desert and tried to send them back assuming they weren't ours only to learn they were just really gigantic and made in-house garlic knots. While we enjoyed our appetizers we noticed that the patio's door leading outside was ajar and held open by what looked like a koozie somehow fastened to the door to keep it from slamming (I suppose) but in doing so it also allowed the no-see-ums to come in and then be trapped and subsequently eat us alive. Hence, we decided to get the That’s What Cheese Said Pizza TO GO. It is a white pizza with Parmigiana-Reggiano cheese, Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese fresh tomatoes, and minced garlic finished with pesto sauce. We also substituted the pecorino Romano cheese for the Ricotta cheese (the husband doesn't like Ricotta) and added pepperoni and spinach. I also ordered their house salad with balsamic vinaigrette. As soon as they came we paid our tab and high-tailed it out of there! On our way to the car, we realized how much nicer it would have been to sit at their picnic tables (not enclosed in the screened patio) but se la vie. We threw the pizza in the oven when we got home to reheat and it was scrumptious! All-in-all the only serious issues we had were the no-see-ums, the koozie causing the feeding frenzy to ensue, the servers leaving us out there to fend for ourselves while being feasted upon, and the fact that no one offered brownie water. But we will just call it even because the FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL. We will be back to have our...

We called to inquire how to order for delivery at 6:000pm tonight. The young lady who answered the phone said they use a service called slice to order and have delivered. We looked online and said we wanted to try them out because the pizza looked good. So we then went back online and downloaded “Slice” to place an order for delivery of 2 pizza’s with the order totaling $81.00. Despite the high cost we were anxious to try it. We placed the order at 6:20, the delivery time said 8:10!(upset at the 2hr wait time, we accepted it as we wanted to try this pizza out.). At 7:45 the slice app said driver headed to store. At 8:10, the delivery was cancelled altogether! OMG we were hot!! So we called the restaurant immediately and I asked for the manager on duty to explain them problem and expecting an offer to rectify the matter. Long story short, The manager on duty said that they never got the order for some reason and said there was really nothing that they could do. I explained that I am also a restaurant owner in this area and that I would never have left a customer with no sort of rectification on the matter Especially when it wasn’t any error on the customers behalf, she just told me that she could not drive the order to me???? At that point, I didn’t want any food from there. Haven’t even treated so negatively. On top of that, my husband called slice while I was on the phone with the restaurant and slice said that the restaurant did get the order And that the problem was there Driver had a last-minute emergency so the order had to be canceled. Ultimately…..the 2 parties involved, restaurant and online ordering & delivery provider should’ve offered SOMETHING to leave us anyway but hungry! As I already stated, we have been restaurant owners for over 10 years in this area and that type of service doesn’t represent the business in any good way at all and certainly won’t help in any growth and success for that restaurant! Will NOT order from there...

Extremely disappointed with this establishment. This was my favorite pizza restaurant. The food is outstanding but the restaurant simply cannot handle the large volume of customers it receives. It is a 45 minute drive for me to come enjoy their pizza. This time I wanted to place a takeout order. The first time I called I was placed on a "brief" hold. I waited 5 minutes on hold and thought maybe there was an interruption with the call so I hung up and called again. I was again placed on a "brief" hold where I waited an additional 15 minutes. At this point I was almost at the restaurant. I decided to hang up and call one last time, a new person answered the phone and I mentioned that I was in hold for 15 minutes, I heard in the background someone said, I don't have time for that call in. Finally this person took my order, apologized and said it would be 30 minutes wait. I was pulling into to parking lot at that time and noticed it was packed with cars, I understood this restaurant was super busy so I waited in my car for 30 minutes. When I went to get my pizza the hostess told me it was not yet made and it was going to be another 15 minutes. At this point I was frustrated and asked if she could call me when it was ready because my children were waiting in the car. I went back to my car and waited another 20 minutes then went back inside to my order still not ready. I ultimately asked for a refund and left empty handed. Very disappointed with the situation and after reading some of the arrogant replies to similar low star google reviews, my decision to not support this business anymore has been...

Overall I think the location and atmosphere was beautiful. The food tasted great, it was a very nice food and atmosphere experience overall. Unfortunately the service was much less than ideal. The servers all seemed nice and pleasant but it stopped there. There wasn't any level of attentiveness going on anywhere. My daughter and I were seated my mother showed up 15 minutes after. We sat for 25 minutes, Completely unacknowledged in the front booth. Four different servers including what appeared to be the shift lead or manager passed us by in that time frame while we sat with no drinks or anything. My mother lost patience and told them we hadn't been spoken too yet so someone came over immediately and got us water and took our order. We only saw a server 1 more time that night. The food runner ran the pizzas out. And the server came by about 40 minutes later to drop off the check. No refills, no checking in, nothing. Really a shame. Aside from that aspect, the food was very well done. I got The Sunday Pie and it was crisp, fresh, well balanced and had great quality toppings. I couldn't say anything bad about that part. I will even say that items I saw going to other tables looked great, especially the garlic knotts. The kids menu was funny and reasonably priced. The bar had a good vibe and the parking situation wasn't horrible. Overall I do want to go back and give them another chance to get their service attentiveness in order.

Soooooo... this was my first time here and I wanted to check out the old convenience store that was baron for nearly twenty years. I always knew this would make a great, cool spot because it's the last stop on the way to the good beaches and the first stop back in. I have to say this, every single time I pass this place, it is busy. This is the first year they've been open and of course there is a curiosity factor... but since about the second week or so, now around six or seven months in... they've continued to stay busy. All that being said, this place is beautiful inside, the Woodworking is very nice and gives this place a very comfortable feel. We had the "Mother Clucker bbq chicken" pie in a large.... with their "Mozzarella Moons" cheese rounds with homemade marinara sauce...a couple of Yuenglings, a glass of wine with a slice of cheese cake to finish... $66 all in plus a tip... we will go back and have a go at a more traditional pie for sure. The choices of their specialty pies will suit and satisfy the vegetarian and the carnivores alike. Indoor, outdoor with screening and true outdoor seating available. Several big screen TVs to watch the games on too!! Have a go for yourselves!!

The food here is great. I mean everything looked, smelled and tasted fantastic. The service process seemed a bit unorganized. The prices for people picking up their call in orders and other people waiting to be seated was a zoo. We had to wait at least fifteen minutes before even being acknowledged and it wasn't because there wasn't an available table. It also appeared they couldn't get the to go orders out of the kitchen correctly. But that could have just been a one off night for them. Once we were seated, service was pretty quick in spite of the commotion between the kitchen and hostess station. Our waitress appeared to be fixing issues for the hostess and waiting tables simultaneously. It was very distracting though. Back to the food, we had the meatball appetizer. There were two large, very firm, delicious meatballs covered in melted cheese swimming in marinara sauce. Very tasty! For pizza, we ordered "The GOAT" but added ricotta cheese. It was cheesy, with mushrooms, spinach, ham and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Fantastic! I will definitely go back and try the garlic bread knots. They were served to many tables around us and looked delicious.
