The Bandido…….The Best Burrito in Ft Smith! This burrito is packed end to end with flavor: Grilled Steak, Chicken, Chorizo, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Sour Cream, Guacamole, Pico de Gallo and topped with Queso. And if that ain’t enough; it comes with fries. A fantastic combination. The chorizo provided the right amount of spice, the sour cream brought all the fresh flavors together. Filling and delicious. This really was and excellent burrito. I’d put it up against anything you can find in Ft Smith. The fries were good, crispy, however next time I would substitute with refried beans. My wife had a simpler version of Sabor Azteca’s great burritos, the Asada. Less ingredients, but still a BIG delicious burrito. Great chips and salsa. Both the salsa in the bowl and the plastic bottles were very fresh. Excellent flavors, crispy chips. It is a small clean comfortable AUTHENTIC MEXICAN restaurant, off the beaten path on North O. The service was fast and friendly. The menu covers everything you could possibly want. A little English spoken by the owner. There is no doubt in my mind, that the other patrons in the restaurant this afternoon, were experts on Mexican food; there because it is a great place to eat! If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" by Spike S. on Yelp. I've probably been there.

Not much English is spoken here, but wow. My husband ordered the Mojarra Frita, a talipia fish with fries, salad, rice, and beans. I ordered the steak fajitas and asked if they would add nopalas to it. (Cactus) First off, the fajitas for one are more like fajitas for 3 and extremely flavorful. The salsa is a bit on the smokey side and has a little heat, which others have already referred to in their reviews. This is close to the taste we experience just across the border in Mexico . What a great find, and we will definitely come back and, next time, share the fajitas.

This is my second time to enjoy Sabor Azteca. The chips are fresh and the salsa has a hint of smokey ancho with comfortable heat. The Asada burrito is a generous 12 inch flour tortilla filled with chopped steak, pico, avocado, beans, cheese and rice. All burritos come with fries. My friend enjoyed the lunch steak fajitas with rice and beans. The menu has some nice options for special occasion meals. The staff is very welcoming and bilingual.
