Went to Truong Son and noticed customers walking around with boba tea drinks in hand. I had a feeling the cafe was close by, when I got out to the parking lot, I saw the sign and location for Smiling Cup. The cafe is in the same shopping center between the Family General and Truong Son. I went in and was greeted by a warm and upbeat man, I'm thinking the owner. He was so helpful and sweet. I ordered 3 drinks and they came out pretty quick for a boba place. It probably took less than 5 minutes? Their menu has plenty of selections and the main area of the cafe is warm, inviting, and open. The drinks I ordered all came over ice, not sure if they don't blend with ice or not. Read moreI just moved from Houston to Oklahoma and fort smith is one of the closer place to go and do things. Boba has always been something I loved getting in Houston. This place was pretty great considering the options in town are scarce and not good. I was a bit sad to find that the milk teas were powered and not authentic but overall the taste was still rather good. I love the tapioca boba pearls not many places have the honey boba which was also a wonderful surprise. Rather decent prices for the quality of drink. Love the cat robot, maybe change the songs on it though. I’d much rather have k-pop or something like that. But that’s just my personal opinion. Over all great experience. Will come back...
Read moreThis is our favorite boba place now! My girls and I happened to stop by on a whim after dinner and were very pleasantly surprised by the robot kitty delivery. Adorable!! The comfy atmosphere and overall vibe of the place is super fun and relaxing. The tea was delicious too. Bobas are a hit or miss with my 8 year-old but she went with the strawberry flavor with strawberry popping boba and she LOVED it.
