National Pizza Day! I took advantage of the daily deal at Raimondo's on State. It's two pizzas, 14-inch with 3 regular toppings for $19.99 before tax. I built one with sausage, mushroom, and black olive. Their sausage is the small, crumbled texture, so it's spread out over the pizza better instead of just individual chunks. The other toppings were distributed pretty well and covered with cheese. The crust isn't thick and chewy. It's definitely thinner, with a little crunch. (Under picture in the photos) Plenty strong enough to hold the toppings. For the other pizza, I asked to copy a Hawaiian pizza. Easy enough since it's really just the three toppings for one of those. It did have to be on pizza sauce instead of barbecue to qualify for the price. If the sauce difference doesn't bother you, that makes this a great deal since a regular 14 inch Hawaiian is $15.49. I got here around noon and it was busy, about what you would expect for lunch time and also national Pizza day. When the line got long, a second person came up to take orders. People just flowed through the building and were able to get on their happy way. Raimondo's make a lot more things than just pizza. They have great grinder style sandwiches, quite a few pasta options with garlic bread, good size salads, along with some killer sausage rolls. They also sell a mix of side items like jalapeno poppers, garlic bread, fried mushrooms, and even cheesecake. Raimondo's does have a decent sized dining area, that is family friendly. Everyone I spoke with today was very friendly and helpful. I have never had a meal here and been upset about it. This place is a hidden gem in Fort Wayne. Since 1999, Raimondo's Pizza has served hungry diners in Fort Wayne, IN with deliciously hot pizza and a variety of lunch and dinner options that will fill you up and bring a smile to your face. No matter what you are in the mood for, our expansive menu has an offering that will delight your taste buds. From the Six Meats pizza, which literally has six kinds of meaty toppings, to our delightfully fresh sandwiches (Try the stromboli!), you'll have one bite of our food and want to come back for more again and again. Locally owned and operated, Raimondo's Pizza is not like your chain pizzeria. The owners, Cindy and Frank, have cultivated a warm family atmosphere centered on real, high-quality food and fantastic service. Our dough is made fresh every day and from the sauce to the toppings, we use only the finest ingredients, which makes for a tasty, memorable experience with every pizza. If you're hungry, stop by Raimondo's Pizza and share a meal with us today.

Heard a lot of people saying this place has gone down after new management. Ordered a barbecue pizza and got a chicken club pizza (who eats these🤮) Not a mayo fan at all! Was told that the owner’s daughter (new profession?) took the order and said she repeated it back. Horrible customer service. Once, I got the wrong order from another restaurant and they gave us (coworkers) a free meal the next day for lunch. This place made me feel like a liar telling me I had to show them I got the wrong pizza during my work hours, and I am not a new customer???? I ate one piece as I was hangry and could not stomach anymore. Loss a customer and probably many others as my coworkers said, ā€œI told you so.ā€ I gave 2 stars because I’m going to miss the saladšŸ˜‚šŸ¤£.

I’m disappointed. We usually get B. Antonio’s, but we decided to branch out and try Raimondo’s today since they have such great reviews. We placed a delivery order for two 3-topping medium pizzas, a half meatball sub, a half sausage roll, and bacon wrapped jalapeƱo poppers. One of the pizzas we ordered was chicken, pineapple, cheddar cheese, and barbecue sauce. We were told there was a $2.50 up-charge for the chicken, and a $1.00 up-charge for the barbecue sauce. Mind you, this isn’t stated anywhere on their online menu. There are no restrictions mentioned, or any mentioned up-charges. This made a $7.00 pizza almost $11. We stuck with the order anyway and gave it a shot. The food arrived after an hour and 15 minutes, and there was no chicken and no cheddar on the pizza. After all the up-charges, I was just given a pineapple pizza. The jalapeƱo poppers were also way undercooked, and they forgot the side of cheese with our sausage roll. My husband called back to explain all the mishaps, and he was offered a credit towards a future order. He had to ask for a refund, and received a partial refund for the pizza that was missing half the ingredients. The meatball sub I got was decent, and the only part of the order that was correct. All-in-all, this was a really bad experience. The up-charges were ridiculous, forgetting half the toppings on a pizza was even more ridiculous, and most ridiculous of all was the customer service. We really gave it a shot, but we won’t be ordering here again.

Update: They only refunded the cost of the pizza they didn’t mess up. Which was about $4 less because it didn’t have the up-charges. Calling back a third time to get this...

I have been going to this pizza place for awhile now. They have great pizza which is why I have been going back despite their customer service being not so good. Every time that I order, I am told 20-25 minutes. When I get to the store, I am told they are behind and usually wait another 10 minutes. Tonight I was told 20-25 minutes and I didn't even leave my house until the 30 minute mark because I knew it would take longer, it takes me 10 minutes to get there. When I get to the store, it's packed inside. One guy said he's been waiting 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches that he just ordered. He also said there was another guy who still hadn't gotten his order after ordering it 4 hours ago. I get up to the counter and the lady tells me that my name isn't in the system, so she asks what I ordered. She tells me that my order is under a different name. She tells me that my pizza wasn't ready but will only be a few minutes. I waited another 10 minutes and decided that I wanted to go out to my car for a minute to get some fresh air I come back 5 minutes later and was asked by another worker if I've already ordered. I showed my receipt and they acted like they had no clue about my order. They then said they would start the order and it would be another 17-20 minutes. I told them to cancel my order. At this point it was 1 and a half hours after I had put in my order. I have gone here for a long time, but I have no plans of going back due to their lack of time that they can't seem to get correct. If your busy then just tell people...
