The Tower Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Most horrific service we have ever experienced here! Only one waitress knowing it would be a busier morning considering it's 3rd shifts last day before the holiday, so it's always busy. Only one waitress as always. Waited Every table muuultiple times before even coming to ours with people that had been some of the first people in the building. When she Finally came to the table she didn't even get everyone's order before just walking away. Blatantly disregarded people and didn't take their order at all after an HOUR of waiting with No drinks or food whatsoever. Many people walked to the bar and would be served right away knowing several people(tables)had not even been waited on at all or had been waiting a good while to get another round. No one did anything disrespectful whatsoever to be ignored,disregarded and treated disrespectfully as they were. Her order of operation or lack there of, made an already busy, hectic morning much much worse than it needed to be! Her blatant disrespect to certain people as if they did anything disrespectful, when no one had, was absolutely disgusting and uncalled for. Myself and Maaany coworkers have spent good money in here many times in the years and I personally will not be wasting my money somewhere that people are treated that way for no reason. Won't comment on the food or anything else, there is usually no issue with those things. This was 100% horrible service from one waitress there ever is with no organization whatsoever with servicing customers and a bad attitude....

I'd like to start off by saying I liked a lot about the Tower. I walked in and immediately got a seat at one of the bars. I was greeted instantly by the friendly bartenders who had a drink in my hands in less than 60 seconds. I ordered my food and had it sitting in front of me in 7 minutes. The fries came recommended by my bartender and they were awesome! They were piping hot and extra crispy outside and soft and fluffy in the middle just the way fries should be!

I'd always heard that Tower has some of the best wings in Fort Wayne. When I sat down I already knew what I was going to order. When the wings came out, they were lukewarm. They didn't have any texture or crutch when I bit into them. I ordered them extra wet and the kitchen delivered them drowned in sauce. This was the saving grace because the meat in the wings was dry. This alone is what prevented me from awarding a 5th star. I suspect the wings may have already been cooked ahead of time and then tossed in the sauce after the fries were done cooking. I don't know this for certain, however it might explain how the wings could be served so fast.

All that being said, I'll happily return to the Tower if invited. Based on my experience though, i probably won't be ordering the wings again. If you're looking for a drink spot and like to play some pull tabs then I'd definitely recommend Tower Bar and grill. However, if you're looking for awesome wings and larger TVs to watch a sports event, then there are definitely other places...

My husband and I LOVE Tower's food and the cocktails are always great! It's unfortunate that there is a great place with great food, but the wait service is terrible! We stopped going to Towers because of one waitress in particular is awful (always), but we thought we would give it another try last night with our friends. We walk in at 8:00 on a Sunday night (7/16/17) and there is literally 2 waitresses waiting on 50 people? It took us forever to get our orders in, forever to get refills on cocktails, forever to get pull tabs. We were there to get a quick bite to eat, we ordered two orders of Towers fries, two orders of their soup special and 6 wings and had a round of rum and cokes...took an hour and 45 mins to get out of there and my husband had his dinner finished before I got my six wings, I watched them bring out my food and the table’s behind me and sit at the bar to be expedited and sit there for almost ten minutes before it was brought to our table. Our waitress even told the table behind us that she couldn't make a certain type of drink because she was "too behind"...we had pull tabs that we wanted to turn in and finally had enough of waiting of our waitress and ended up leaving our winnings on the table as a tip....If I see this waitress again, I will be leaving. (I don't know her name but she is slender, 5' 4', middle 50's, shoulder length dyed...
