Tonight was my third visit to the newest Wings Etc. location in Fort Wayne. My first visit I ordered 10 traditional wings with dry rub, 10 carrots and a side of broccoli. The side of broccoli (which is $3.19) came out with less than a half cup of only stems. When brought to her attention, the waitress quickly got me a replacement side, which looked MUCH better. She then brought out my side of 10 carrots ($1.99). When I counted them (because it didn’t look like enough) there were only 7. I brought this up, and once again, she handled it so quickly. She was a wonderful waitress, trying her best to correct the kitchens ridiculous mistakes. My second time in, I waited SO long to be seated. I had a toddler with me, so waiting around isn’t super easy. After finally being seated, the food took an eternity to come out. I was in a rush that day (1 hour allotted time for meal), and I was almost late because it took so long for everything. This third visit was honestly terrible. I ordered 6 traditional wings with a dry rub on all of them. I asked for blue cheese with my wings. I also ordered a side of broccoli and 10 carrots. The kitchen was able to properly count to 10 this time, but my side of broccoli was absolutely pitiful. I paid $3.19 for less than a quarter cup of broccoli. The wings were sitting in a pool of butter, which I have NEVER seen at any wings etc location. To top it off, the $1.99 for 10 slivers of carrots apparently doesn’t cover a tiny cup of ranch to dip them in, so they charged me an additional $.79 for both the ranch for the carrots and the blue cheese for the wings. I have NEVER been charged for blue cheese with my wings. That was always just included. I mustered up the courage to speak to a manager (Justin) and he was dry and unapologetic. He made me feel bad for saying something, like I was wrong for it. The customer service is extremely poor from management and the food quality is even worse. Read moreFirst time maybe last time. We did a pick up through the window. We get home. They have forgotten a full fry order and 4, yes 4 sauces! I call, I choose to go back and get it. I drive back and decide to go in to ensure I get all that is missing. I have never been in before, first timer here, I stand at the front for 4 minutes, I started a timer, I’ve worked at many restaurants so don’t start telling me I’m a Karen, until I see a pick up sign clear across the restaurant. No one had come to the front to great me or asked me to be seated as the sign says to wait here. I go there, I say I’m the pick up w missing things, she says it will be a minute. I informed here I’m also missing all these sauces… she says she will get the manager. About 5 minutes later the manager brings out my missing things and asks if I need anything else. I say no and go home. It has been 50 minutes since I picked up my food until I get back home. I live 6 minutes from this place. My food was cold. I was 100% disappointed and probably won’t be back. Read moreWe were very excited that a wings etc closer to us and have been serverly disappointed with every time we have ordered food. We have orded food at least 4 or 5 times hoping it would have gotten better.
The amount of food you get seems minimal. Every time we order food through the app or on the phone add 15 minutes to the time they say it will be ready. After waiting 20 extra minutes they don't do anything for you. Even asking for ranch in the window they will still charge you. I assume that's a mandate or one of the servers would have offered anything to amend the late orders.
I have talked to multiple people close to us and they all have the experiences. Lack of food, expensive for what you get, delays, the bag having the wrong food (which has happened to us more than often than not as well). It's just very sad that such a loved place like wings etc just doesn't hit the mark close to us. We will probably just keep ordering from a closer place like tower buffalo wings and ribs.
