I honestly don’t like this place anymore. After working here for almost 2 years I will mention the pay isn’t nearly as good as some places, managers will make employees cross train and put them wherever they feel is convenient regardless of where they want to work (this is company wide) most managers are entirely under-developed in experience. Employee’s will quit a few days to a week after being hired, the learning curve for working here is high, and getting hired isn’t even as convenient as other places, due to any applications being null unless directly sent to the Braum’s website, indeed and other services do not work. Managers will make employee’s stay later than scheduled to scrape off as much work as possible. If you’re hard working expect to pick up a LARGE SUM of slack from every other lazy employee rather than having the managers keep everyone doing what they’re supposed to be doing to the extent they are supposed to be doing it. After learning not all but a good few of the business practices that managers are supposed to follow to ensure a fair, calm, controlled, and flowing workspace; I find that some of these practices are simply ignored in order to save money, depending on which manager is currently working. As for addressing pay to a further extent, expect to make barely above minimum wage if you have little to no work experience, and about average pay after working there for maybe a year and a half and longer. Do what you will with that information. As for addressing how the work flow is designed to work, it’s fairly complicated but not too hard to grasp after about a month or two of working at a Braum’s store. Before the 7212 Hulen St. store was re-modeled it was much more efficient, due to the fact that everything was more compact, and even if every employee was cross trained they were atleast able to do multiple things at once efficiently. Whilst the several million dollar re-model looks nice, it’s not very convenient. Seeing as you now have to walk several long steps to reach another step to making a Sunday or otherwise. I’ve met an area manager, and she is efficient but impossible to please. No complaints about her, she knows how to keep a workplace flowing correctly. Most people just don’t appreciate her enough or realize why she acts and does things the way she does. I’ve also met her boss, who is an un-believably chill guy and probably is living a nice life I...
Read moreStore Old and Dirty looking inside. ( I thought this place had been recently remodeled in the last year). The service was poor.. Every single young adult in there was not smiling. They were not happy and had major attitude. Perhaps because this Store is so busy that the workers are short fused. They roll their eyes at you for no reason? they don't say thank you....and they turn their back and go on about their business to the next customer as if part of the job is not customer service. Wow. And then some female manager is taking her time and waiting on this male customer like she is his private assistant... While I stand n line for over 10 minutes to pay for my freezer ice cream that is melting... I mean. Seriously. This store is backed up in the drive through and overloadED INSIDE The store And she thinks she has time to smile and then crack a joke to the already upset staff about them getting her area near the shake machine dirty. REALLY? I can tell she's enjoying her position of authority over these young adults and not helping out at all and probably not giving them breaks as needed.
10/21/24 This place is absolutely unbelievably ghetto I have no words we are in the drive-through currently at 5:27 PM and you don’t get a greeting from the first window AND the second window flies open and says “Can you pull forward? Luckily as we pulled to the waiting area for our ice cream a young gentleman brought it out and he was super nice he greeted us and he said have a nice day with a nice calm smile. Trust me he is the exception because the rest of those folks...
Read moreThis Braum's has changed a lot since the last time I was here. It has a market now with quick food items, etc. The place feels overcrowded and unkept. There was a line outside at the drive-thru, around the building. Inside, there was a line of about 7-8 people in front of me. Stood in line about 10 mins before it even started to move. When I finally reached the counter, I was told to move around a sign to the food line! There are no clear markings in the store to indicate there's an Ice Cream line, a food line, and a cash register for the market. It's just all lumped up together. On top of that, the dining area is very small and also looks unclean. (Tables and chairs) My grandson and I both ordered a 1/4 lb Bacon Cheeseburger Combo. I upgraded my drink to a malt. Didn't take too long to get our order, but I had driven off before I realized that I didn't get my malt. Turned around, went back and went in to get the malt. Got home and started eating. The food was still warm. But the burger patty was hard around the edges, the vegetables were tough and hard to chew through, and could hardly taste the bacon. The FFs were only so-so. Won't be going back to this Braum's. It's a shame since it's the only one close to my home. On top of everything, as soon as I finished eating, my stomach started hurting really bad! Makes me think they gave me a shake instead of a malt,...
