Candleridge Park is truly a hidden gem in Fort Worth. Whether you're looking for a peaceful place to walk, a spot for the kids to burn off some energy, or just a beautiful area to relax in nature, this park checks all the boxes.

The walking trails are well-maintained and perfect for a stroll or a light jog, winding around a serene pond that adds a calming vibe to the whole experience. There are plenty of ducks and turtles to spot, which kids love, and the mature trees offer great shade on hot Texas days.

The playground is spacious, with updated equipment and areas suitable for various age groups. There are also open fields for playing catch, flying kites, or having a picnic. If you're into fishing, the small lake has a few peaceful spots that are ideal for casting a line.

What stands out most is how clean and quiet it is—it’s not overcrowded like some parks can be, making it feel like your own little slice of nature in the city. Whether you're visiting solo, with family, or with your dog, Candleridge Park is a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Highly recommend for locals and...

Great Family Park & is also fun for ALL ages since there is not only a large & very nice playground area but they also have the walking path(which is a paved sidewalk), an exercise/work-out area), picnic area with bar-be-que pits, the very large pond(which the walking path goes around) the is fun for fishing & feeding the ducks & geese that live there @ the Park, & then it also has a very large field area where you can play football, soccer, disk golf, baseball, tag, softball, etc.! It is also has lots of trash cans & was kept pretty clean back when I brought my kids there pretty much daily back when my oldest(a girl) was between the ages of 3 to 7-8 years old & my youngest(a boy) was 1 to 5-6 years old (they are now 11 & 13 years old)!!! It was our family's favorite Park to go to & was only about a 5min drive from our old house on Santiago Ave. over by the Woodway Elementary School!!! So if you live in that area, have children or heck even if ya don't, I promise if you like the outdoors, & you haven't tried Candleridge Park...I promise you'll love it,...

They have ducks and turtles which the kids love. They have three different sets of playgrounds which is nice, especially if there's lots of people around. All of the equipment works, and since it's a neighborhood park it's generally not as busy. The reason for four stars is because they don't have baby swings - they have baby and parent swings, a swing for toddlers, and two regular swings. The idea of the parent and baby swing is nice, but I'm not sure how they expect you to climb up in there and hold the baby, or lift them after you're seated, and you can't push off the ground. Also, I feel like the bridge could use a quick maintenance check - two boards are loose. Other than that, this is an awesome...

Great place to take the kids or by yourself for a walk around the pond. There is separate playground equipment for really small kids, toddlers, and bigger kids. They have picnic tables as well. There are ducks and geese in the pond. If you are in the mood to feed them, just don't feed them bread. It's not good for them. The path around the pond is excellent for getting your workout in or just enjoying a beautiful day. There are benches all around the pond as well. I'm so glad that I found this little sanctuary so close to my house, and my grandkids love it also. Unfortunately, there aren't any restrooms at the park.

We absolutely love this park! The squirrels, ducks, geese, and turtles are fun to watch in the big pond. The playground is new and has a few separate play areas for the different age groups of kids. There's also a small workout area and cement trail around the whole pond. The park is pretty well maintained, and it's in a quiet, cute neighborhood. Just be warned, there's no public restroom. This park is good to bring the kids to play or to come by yourself for some quiet time with the wildlife.
