Bob Evans — Restaurant in Fostoria

I don't generally like to complain but we just got home from eating dinner here the food was ok besides the Mac and cheese being cold. We got there it took 15 mins for the waiter to realize we're were there. Came over and took our orders the kids got chocolate milks and we got waters well it took then till after we got our food and them having to ask us again what drinks we wanted to actually get our drinks . They brought out our food close to 30 mins after ordering we were one of 4 tables in the place that had people at them and every table was 1-2 people. While bringing our food another gentleman had to stop them and asked when they were gonna take his order because he'd been waiting. Myself and the couple near us both had to go find them and get their attention as they sat in the kitchen to get to go containers and checks ...along with my kids cookies that came with with their kids meals. Just terrible service We wont be back anytime...

Everyone knows Bob Evans and you always get standard favorites and a changing menu offering seasonal and new items.

I have become a fan of the breakfast biscuit platter. Two delicate biscuits with egg, cheese and sausage patty on one and bacon on the other.. i asked for extra hot sausage gravy and homefries.

Our biscuits were unusually small but hot and fresh. Proprtions were small but it made sense listening to a manager interviewing a prospective employee going on and on about the importance of portion control. The poor guy didnt stand a chance and could use some coaching about highlighting his strong work ethics.

Bathrooms are standard and wheelchair friendly.

What is extra special, this Bobs filters their drinking water which is a must in this town. That saves at least 3...

What is going on Fostoria? Every where I go, there's terrible service. Now Bob Evans too! My family of 4 went there on Friday August 16th. The preparation of food was terrible. We did not order anything special but half of our order came to us missing half of the ingredients. Then what was missing was brought out to us later in separate dishes even though it was supposed to be combined with what was made. When we complained about the ants marching around the window sill and table we were told that they have spray in the back and they will make sure to use it. That's it! We were at a table of 6 so we moved down and away from the window. No apology or offer of 10 % off or anything. But then we get our bill and they over charged us anyway! At that point, I just paid it. Not worth the conversation of speaking with...
