Mi Tequilas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Fostoria

There were 5 of us for dinner. My son ordered the shrimp chimich onga which he said was very good. My grandson ordered enchiladas a la carte. The sauce was very salty and he did not eat it. One granddaughter ordered nachos with beef she said they were good. My other granddaughter ordered a cheese quesadilla and rice. We had to ask about her plate which did not come out with the rest of the order. When it did arrive the plate and food were cold. The waiter did not come to the table to ask us if everything was ok until we were more than halfway finished. I told him my granddaughters food was cold. He took it back and brought her a new warm quesadilla. I ordered the steak fajitas. My steak was crispy. I had not eaten there in over a year. I guess it will be a while...

Today was my first visit to Mi Tequila. For being Father's Day, it was not nearly as busy as I would have thought but we still had about a 15 minute wait for a table which was very reasonable. The food was very good and was enjoyed by all of my family, even the ones who don't usually like Mexican food. I had the Fajitas Texcanos, which I thoroughly enjoyed, my wife enjoyed the Fajita Quesadilla. We also had an order of the Queso Fundido. Which was a HUGE hit with the kids. Fajitas were above average for sure. Beer was ice cold and poured perfectly. The only let down on the food for me was the salsa. It's on the sweet & mild side. I like my salsa with a lot more bite than what they serve. The place was clean and quaint, about what you'd expect in such a small town.
