This is basically gas station food. 3 different things in one. The food was horrible and the other reviews are obviously staff or owners. We got off the interstate because of the reviews. Big mistake. The men's and women's bathroom was flooded, water running out of the door due to recent storm I hope. The burgers were obviously frozen bubba burgers from Walmart or similar. Tasted like reunion food. The chicken was gas station franchise. The sub station looked home made. The pizza is gas station franchise. Pizza pro. Not sure about the Mexican food too scared to try. The mashed potatoes were like sludge it took 18 seconds to fall off the spoon. My wife wanted water but spit it out for taste of bleach. So I got a Sprite taste of bleach. Then I got a Coke taste of bleach. Dumped it got sweet tea. Threw it out. Fries were the only thing normal but tasted like ones you do at home. This place was a $40 nightmare my family will never let me forget. I guess memories good and bad. Travlers beware Sherely...

Our wonderful waitress, maybe the cook and owner too, I don't know, was astute and made great suggestions.
The first party ordered regular fries and cheeseburger.
The second party ordered Cajun fries and a cheeseburger.

"Did you want to change to Cajun fries?"
Yes. Yes, he did want Cajun fries. She noted the look on his face, "Aw, I should have ordered Cajun fries." She caught the look and changed his order.
Me, I ordered the cheeseburger too, but went for the tater tots.
Burgers were large with fresh-fresh vegetables: lettuce, pickles, onions, and tomato.
Atmosphere was a wee bit tired. Maybe that's a prerequisite for authentic, local roadside...
Read moreMyself and a friend were attending the Fouke Monster Festival and took a break for lunch. The event was packed so we headed over to Allen's Burger Center for a little peace and quiet. We arrived and had our order taken promptly. We were told that it would take about twenty five minutes for our food because they were making lunches for the festival. We were fine with that because it was nice in the restaurant and the AC was great. Both of us got a large cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and a nice helping of pickles. The patties were sized nicely and the cheeseburgers tasted great. We also got Cajun fries. They were good as well. The staff checked on us regularly, even after the restaurant started to get really busy.
This place was great. Awesome food, friendly staff, and a definite must-stop if you're around Fouke...
