I had an incredibly disappointing and disheartening experience at this restaurant last night. I placed an order for a combination plate that included sweet-and-sour chicken and chicken fried rice, specifically requesting no onions in my husbandâs portion. Unfortunately, when we received the order, it contained big chunks of onions.
I called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake, and they politely assured me that they would replace the rice. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, I was met with an unprofessional and confrontational attitude from the owner. Instead of handling the situation calmly, the woman at the front began yelling at me in front of her employees. I calmly told her I canât understand what she was telling me because she was yelling, acting irate, and she continued on yelling ânext time you donât order vegetables thenâ. While the restaurant was initially empty, other customers began to enter as the situation escalated.
Despite the fact that the kitchen was already preparing a replacement for the rice, the owner proceeded to open my husbandâs plate and, shockingly, began touching and stirring the food with her bare hands. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable accepting any replacement and simply requested a refund. She refused, even though she had taken back the food I had paid for.
To make matters worse, when I attempted to document the incident, she called the police and falsely claimed that I had taken the food without paying. When the officers arrived, they quickly realized the situation was not as she had described, but unfortunately, they were unable to help me recover my money, as it would require pursuing a civil case. The owner was still acting unprofessionally in front of the police officer as she continued to stir my husbandâs food around with her bare fingers.
This entire experience was unnecessary and deeply upsetting. I approached the situation with kindness and patience, yet I was met with hostility and dishonesty. I have never been treated so poorly by a business, and I would never want anyone else to endure such an experience. Needless to say, I will not be returning, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others about the unprofessional conduct I encountered.

I went in December 17, 2018 around 2:40 order my usual ( vegetable hibachi replace the cabbage with broccoli) and a small veggie lo mein. I guess I came in on a bad day because the cashier seemed irritated. I decided I wouldnât eat all of the food and ask the cashier to remove the lo mein and Iâll have my usual and got irritated at me for removing the lo mein. I repeat the order back to the cashier because when she comfirmed the order, she said it back wrong so I was just correcting her. I was going back and forth with her because she kept getting the order wrong. I order the same thing for years, she recognized my order and me when pick it up and we chat sometimes so I donât understand why she didnât understand what I wanted. When my order was ready, I got a plate full of broccoli with rice. When she came back to help me, she walk back to the counter with a shrug and tight lips and asked me what the problem was. I told them my order was wrong and she told me âYou changed your order three or four times. Whatâs the problem.â I only ask her to take off the vegetable lo mein and ordered my usual. Then she kept going back-and-forth with me telling me that this is what I ordered. I didnât raise my voice or say anything rude to her but she kept on talking over me and wouldnât let me finish my sentences. I got frustrated and asked her for my money back and she said âNo.â I asked her if she had the zucchini and onions that comes with the plate and she said âNo.â and said if I wanted more, then she will have to charge me extra. So Iâm like (?) how was she supposed to fix the problem they didnât have zucchini and onions and she refused to refund me. I asked her if she could fix this and she said âYeahâ so now Iâm just (?). I said I want the vegetable hibachi place with the zucchini, onions and broccoli but no cabbage can you replace the cabbage with extra broccoli like I usually do and finally fixed my order. I came in the middle of her arguing with a customer before. She made the situation bigger than it really was. My parents went to pick up the food, gave them the phone number and was handed a bag. We were taking this to a dinner 40 mins away. I called the store and informed them of the mix up and they told me they would call back. The owner called me and was yelling that "this is not their fault, it is ours for taking the wrong order." Normally we would take the food back, but given the distance we could not make this a quick fix. I asked him to confirm if we were charged more than what we placed, he refused to check. I asked if we could be refunded $20 dollars for the mix up and call it a day, and again, I was told it was our fault. The owner is a rude and horrible person.
