Harris Boys Barbecue — Restaurant in Fountain

I was driving my school bus today and have been working 12 hour days doing students to and from school, field trips, covering routes due to shortage of drivers and not getting much of any time to take even a minute. Upon my drop the owner flagged me down to stop in front of his food truck as I was headed that direction, and he had 2 tacos out ready to go. What he didn't know was that I have never had this place before and was talking to my monitor the day prior about really wanting to try it due to smelling it as I drive by and it fills the bus up with so much aroma. Upon finishing my route, my monitor and I stopped for 5 minutes under the shade and split these tacos. Our first reaction was that our eyes closed and as our mouths exploded with flavor we were feeling like we were in heaven. I want to thank this man who made my very long, no break and exhausting day Into a warm, kind gesture that he didn't have to do. I had my first feel of relief and subsided feeling in my tummy. I can't wait to visit this truck and support this business on my down time, it's well worth planing a day around it. Thank you sir for this act...

Best barbecue I’ve had in Colorado 😋 definitely worth ever penny! It’s hard to find some good throw down bbq. I got the pork ribs with a side of Mac & cheese, collard greens, and cornbread. Omg it was delicious, the cornbread surprised me! It was soft buttery and honey like 🤌🏽 The collards were flavorful, the Mac cheese was good and the pork ribs by far were perfect. This is the BEST brisket I have ever had. Literally melts in your mouth! My boyfriend and I just came across them at the Saturday farmers market. We got collard greens, mac n cheese, and the collard poppers. Everything was outstanding! We live 30 minutes north of fountain but will find them again when we need a fix! People leaving one star reviews because of some location misunderstanding is just petty. Solid 5 stars!!! So glad...
