Black Pearl Restaurant at Pirates Den Resort - Parker — Restaurant in Four Corners States

We were super excited to go to eat here. The atmosphere is pleasing. We went for dinner at 5:30. Ordered 2 appetizers, after about 25 minutes started noticing other tables who came after us getting their appetizers. Then our meals came out. 10 minutes after our meals came a runner brought our 2 appetizers out. I told her I didn't want those. Her response was well were busy. I asked her to have those taken off the bill since we were half way done with out meal. There is no excuse for poor training when they are charging what they are for dinner meals. The food was not horrible but not great. The french fries on all three of our meals where very rubbery. The thing that got me annoyed. I asked for water 5 times. She came back 4 different times never brought water. Would ask my husband if he wanted more soda. She would bring it. I would then ask again for water. It never came. Super disappointed at the lack of attentiveness . We personally will not be going back. And I will be telling everyone about my below...

Went there for birthday lunch. Seating was great, not over crowded, and server was very nice and attentive. Drinks were great. Then the food came out. I ordered just a simple burger and fries. There were 2 very long black hairs mixed in with my lettuce and tomatoes. Server immediately took back and about 10 min later brought another one. Now theres a long black hair on the actual burger! Sent that one back. By the time they brought me another everyone at my table was done eating. I checked it thoroughly before eating. By this time we had been there for two hours. They took the burger and my drink off the bill and were very apologetic about it but my whole table of 4 left with a icky feeling. Will be awhile before we go back again. My wife and I took our two grandsons to eat here January 22nd 2018. Service was next to nothing, we ordered drinks and kids meals and it took them 30 minutes and us to ask about her food before we were told it would be out in about 5 minutes. So 35 minutes for a hot dog and boxed mac and cheese. We were then left alone until we had to ask for more drinks, we then ordered a pirate's log which consisted of 4 frozen hash brown triangles a pinch of shredded beef soaked in enough barbecue sauce to cover a half a pig! When we were done eating we had to finally asked another employee to tell our waitress to bring us our check. Our total was $42 for two children's meals and appetizer and a piece of cake and 4 drinks. I have to click on one star, but I give it a rating of 0 Stars! I will not go back and suggest other...
