Great course, poorly managed by the Marshall. 2.5 hrs to play the front nine with groups hitting 2-3 tee shots and backing up everyone. Then to end the round, mind you pro shop said carts in at 5:15, 10 min to 5:00 here comes the Marshall telling groups to pick up your ball and head in. That’s disappointing but only part of the story. This particular Marshall took a particular interest in my group because we argued the direction issued by the pro shop and started to follow us off the course. Multiple groups in front of us not being told to pick up and go. After further argument with this individual they even threatened to call the sheriffs via the pro shop saying “there is an asshole refusing to leave”. Needless to say I will not be back, unfortunate because I do set up multiple tournaments a year to support charity and use my personal rounds to understand what courses I want to work with. Here is a thought, manage pace of play and this never would have got to this level of poor Marshall interaction. Especially being in a retirement community where golf is really the only thing to do, focus on the customer was not the mantra for this...

We were very excited to play this course Friday, April 16th, 2021. When we arrived we found out there was a men’s tournament going on and there were no carts available. So we sat and we waited. When carts finally became available (about 30 -45 mins.) we had to ask for them to be cleaned!

Once we got on the course we could tell immediately it was going to be a very s-l-o-w round. It took five and a half hours to play 18 holes. The worse part was the beverage cart lady never visited us once! When we called the clubhouse to inquire they defended the beverage cart woman and said she was done for the day. 😠 Mind you there is no drinking water on the course and you are not allowed to bring coolers! However, we saw the tournament guys carrying playmate coolers. 😡

Lastly, you may be interested to know you are unable to drive a tee into the artificial turf golf mats at the driving range. We were very upset at the lack of attention paid to those behind the tournament group! Aside from these very irritating issues it’s a very nice course and fun to play. Just don’t get behind a mens’...

The course itself is beautiful and unique! I feel they take advantage of that fact and don’t really care about the customers. One of our golfers physically could only golf 9 holes for medical reasons, but was expected to pay for 18! The desk didn’t have us and two other groups in the starters line up of golfers so they were rushed and it would have helped them to know we had to leave after 9 holes. The carts were nothing special, lacking GPS and wind shields. The course charged $25 for me to ride along in the cart which we were using for the third golfer anyway; I had no place else to go as we were from out of town. The front desk was not very friendly about it when we asked. Again, a beautiful course but lacking in customer service and with some unreasonable rules we have never encountered at...

Called and booked a tee time with Joseph let him know i was two plus hours away. He let me know when is best to come, rates, rate of play and anything i needed to know about the course. Day of my tee time Joseph happened to be there and was very informative of the course. He as well gave me a course guide that showed pictures of each hole with the layout and extremely accurate yardages. Course was very gorgeous and in great shape for time of year. Highly recommend this course. Thanks again Joseph for a great experience will 100% be back!

Well worth playing. I played this course approximately 20 years ago and came back to play it today and it did not disappoint. Firstly, can I say that everyone that we met was so friendly and pleased to help us. The green fees are very reasonable and the course was in superb condition. A lot of the layout weaves its way through canyons and makes many holes interesting and a challenge to play. I will hopefully get the opportunity to play here again and if you visit, I hope that the welcome is as friendly as what we received today.

Four Middle Georgia boys flew to Las Vegas and spent a week playing in Nevada, Arizona and California. Today 2/14/23 we played back to back rounds at Emerald Canyon. The course is challenging with several blind drives and steep drop offs. The narrow throats make driving accuracy important. The winds today were 15-25mph sustained and gusts between 30-50 very frequently. It made it even more challenging, however the course was beautiful and lots of fun
