I live here in Holbrook and I have given the Store more than enough chances to prove me wrong. More times than not my order is incorrect, but its correct on the receipt. Tonight was the last straw, I clearly asked to add cheese to my chicken sandwiches (2) and neither sandwich came with cheese, I paid 80 cents for each sandwich to have this cheese. I did not get what I paid for. I went into the restaurant to get reimbursed for the mistake. For what its worth the people are usually nice to me and correct it, however more times than is acceptable since I started to go there, like I said MORE TIMES THAN NOT. The man who seemed to be in charge, murmured 80 cents? looked at the receipt and visually shaking in frustration gave me back 80 of the $1.60 and I explained to him I had bought two sandwiches. I got my money back. I have 7 years of food service experience and NEVER have I or any of my associates not said sorry and thank a customer for a mistake. In my opinion this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. I parked to eat my food and I took one bite and thought it was odd, and my next bite was COMPLETELY RAW and cold. I hope I don't get sick from this. At this point I chucked my sandwich and was fed up, enough I didn't want to go back in and get angry with the complete lack of service. I understand the lack of sum my reimbursement had, but after multiple times of having to drive back into town I've used tons of gas, my time and after tonight my health apparently from food sickness, which I have had in the past year. Get some new management in there PLZ. not worth going there if your stopping through, or if you...
Read moreSo if I could give this place a one star I would. The young man working the counter sat my food on the top of the trash can and when I asked him not to he sat there looking at me blankly and then after reaching for it finally took it off the trash. Then it was cold. Literally. I had them remake it and when they did they found the smallest little chicken patty, still didn’t heat the bacon and gave it to me. I asked to speak to the manager and this guy named Al who is super old(not that that matters) but he didn’t say anything when I finished explaining to him the service be behavior of the two young men working. He just looked at me blankly like the boy did and kind of mumbled “welp okay sorry”. Look I’m a driver I waited all day to eat, I’m on a 30 minute break, this is a truck stop I get it. But the behavior of the two young men working there is a direct reflection of the management who seemed a bit scared of them to be honest. I was not impressed. Get staff who is going to get the orders right and treat drivers and travelers with respect, or shut down and give the space to another restaurant who will. Pathetic all...
Read moreFirst, the good. The cashier. She took my order just fine and while not overly smiley, she didn't look like she wanted to die either.
Now for the bad. I ordered two chicken sandwiches. One comes with tomatoes and the other doesn't. I asked for no tomato on that one. When I received my sandwiches they were both just barely warm, not even enough to melt some of the cheese on the sandwich. The one I'd ask for no tomatoes has tomatoes on it.
I wouldn't say I won't eat here again, because of I'm stuck here it's one of only three food options. But maybe I'll just stick to getting breakfast here since the last time I had some it was at least...
