We were passing by this place to eat, if that’s what you want to call it. We were seated by Kelly, who was the only friendly person at this restaurant. From the very beginning the waitress was super hateful. We are not from here. Never ate here before. You could tell just by everyone sitting in the restaurant, we were the one family who had never ate there or even lived near here. We were maybe seated for two minutes, when the waitress asked if we were ready, and we told her not yet. There was no reply from her, like “take your time.” She just walked away. She comes back moments later, delivered our drinks, and then asked if we were ready. We ordered. I ordered the turkey dinner and before I could get even say what I wanted with it, she says “white or brown gravy?” I said brown gravy. Then she said “baked or mashed potato,” and I said mashed potato. I then ask her if that was all it came with and she said “yes.” Food comes and it’s completely different than what she said. I was expecting maybe a roll with my mashed potatoes, and turkey, but it included stuffing and corn. If I would have known that was also included i would have asked for a different vegetable. She comes over and sees that I was caught off guard, and replies “is that not what you ordered?” I then replied well when I asked if that was it, after saying mashed potatoes and you replied “yes.” Then I said “I thought that was all the food, turkey and potatoes.” She then smartly replied “well it says it on the menu.” Sorry maam. I am not a native person to this restaurant, you also spoke before I could even tell you what I wanted. Nonetheless, the food was absolutely disgusting. Everything tasted like it was microwaved. Gravy was cold. Mashed potatoes if you call them mashed potatoes were soupy and watery. You could tell that the mashed potatoes are not real. They were disgusting. The kids pizza was gross. You can tell it was microwaved and just heated up. Will not stop through here again. The waitress being rude almost made us just get up and leave. It continued through the whole time we were seated there eating. She was so smart alec. Not to mention one of the waitresses was bickering with one of the cooks cussing back and forth while we were sitting there waiting for our food. Horrible experience. I wish I could have got my money back. It was not worth $50. Would not recommend it to anyone coming through or passing by. Food is gross. Drive the few miles and eat at DQ or McDonald’s. This is not the “great...

The service here was none existent. The host sat us and failed to tell the server they had a table. Took 10 mins to get our drink order. Another 5 to 10 mins to get our iced tea. But that time we were ready to order. We let the server know that we had decided. She looked at us puzzled and told us to wait and walked off. She came back ready to take our order. By this time we waited so long. We decided it wasnt worth the wait. The manager wasnt on the floor. He was plating up the servers food at the hot window. Never came by to see if we had been helped. Never came over to see if the wrong could be fixed. I wouldnt have mined the wait if it was jam packed in the middle of the dinner rush. But there were 4 other tables. 2 which had finished eating. And another table that walked in after us. Lack of professionalism. No team work. This place is very dissappointing. The Sky City Casino a few miles away has a better buffet and prompt service. Go there. Dont waste your time here at...

On a road trip, we were craving breakfast and found ourselves with not too many choices on that stretch of i40. Found this on maps and gave it a shot. We weren't sure if we could park the RV on-site, so we opted to park at the gas station across the street where there was a big open area we easily backed into. And...! Bonus! The deisel at that station was a good $0.40 less than large truck stops, but plenty of room for RVs to maneuver.

So, we walked across the street and enjoyed our breakfast. Staff was friendly, place was clean, bright and inviting and the food was good. Place was pretty well deserted - not sure if it's always that way, and normally that would "scare us" away from a place - but we were hungry and we're glad we stayed.

We didn't go into the casino, but the restaurant was good & we would stop...

Pleasant Time at Great American Diner (at Dancing Eagle Casino)! We found this diner while on a road trip, drawn by the good reviews and the lack of other options in such a desert-like area. And it turned out to be a great find! Located inside a casino, we arrived for an early breakfast, shortly after they opened. The place is spacious, with plenty of tables, and everything was clean and organized. The service from the moment we arrived was good, and the restrooms were also spotless. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our food, which was very tasty. The portions seemed generous for the price, which is a definite plus. As we read in other comments, it truly is a "hidden gem" in the middle of the desert. For being in such a remote location, the facilities and service are excellent. Completely recommended!

Be careful. The information board says "All you can eat for 11.99", this does not mean you can refill from the salad bar. Today I took some on my plate, thinking that I could take more. When my plate was empty, the waitress asked me to pay. I asked her if I could take more. She replied no. I can only eat what I have already put on my plate. If I had known, I would have taken more. As it was, I put in a little and left hungry, paying $18 for an incomplete plate of salad, a glass of lemonade and a tip.

I was excited to try the pozole. Since Lamb Stew wasn't available. I was very disappointed. It's mostly hominy like 3 or 4 tiny pieces of pork. I like spice, but this broth was over spiced. And honestly it was a lil thick. Made me think it was from maybe days before. I literally ended up eating just the sopapilla that is also small. I ended up buying an extra piece for $2, definitely not worth the $12 + tip. But the service was great.
