I am close friends with this wonderful couple, who take such good care of the ancestral food ways in the new Mexico vallé. Nixtas unique dishes are a reflection of the land and history of the peoples who have been here generations. Personally, growing up in a pueblo, their food always warms a place of home in my heart ( & belly) haha. Nixtas respectful approach in honoring tradition, keeps a key role in preserving the knowledge and wisdom of New Mexicos traditional foods.
