This was my first time coming inside Pig and Fig. I am disappointed in my experience. The food was not what I was expecting given I paid 46 dollars for my whole tab. I will attach pictures of my food so you can see, but I got a sandwich and it was 18 dollars and I am sorry but it does not look like an 18 dollar sandwich at all. The portion size is also small for what you paid for. If it was 13-14 I would say okay it’s worth it, but 18 plus tax is high in my opinion and I feel ripped off. My brother got a burger and his looked much more like what we paid for. However, you cannot tell me these are not McDonald’s fries. The fries were stale and not seasoned at all. I wouldn’t say it was inedible, but for the price, was not worth it at all. My latte was also not flavored properly. I ordered a hazelnut latte and it did not taste like hazelnut whatsoever. I will say my pastry is amazing though. I love the chocolate torte. However, the lady who took my order was a bit on the rude side. She asked if my brother was ordering food after I placed my order and was trying to order my drink. She made it sound like I wasn’t going to buy him anything when that is further from the truth. I understand getting food in to the kitchen first is helpful, but she didn’t say that. She said “is he buying food too? Or?” But in a rude way. After I already established we are together. Overall, I would say my experience is lackluster. The food was not anything special aside from the pastries, and the staff were a little rude. I do feel I wasted 46 dollars here.

Quick food. Nice decorating. Overpriced. Salad was basic for $16; sorry I already ate the small piece of $4 chicken on top. Sandwich and basic potato chips for $14 and drink extra; this should be a $9.99 lunch special. Play by play: Walked in at about 1240. Not too busy. While standing, review the paper menu, give order to older lady at register who makes a strange comment about waiting to order a diet coke until after both of us have given her our food order. Rude? Hold credit card up the screen. The tipping screen appears with 15, 20, and 25% default options. Be careful with the tip screen because this basically a fast food joint. You're getting your own water and utensils and pouring your own soda, etc. Like a Modern fast food joint, yiu are handed a number flag and go find your own table. Food came out quickly. Delivery person asked if we need anything else. I asked about utensils and the delivery person gestured at a rack next to her where we were supposed to get our own forks. I thanked her, stood up, walked past her to get my own fork. Summary: meh. Overpriced. Lackluster service. Inside of restaurant was clean and food was edible. We will try somewhere else next time we come thru. The tipping up front is misleading for what service is provided. Not sure why this place has an above average review.

Took the motorcycle for a road trip to White Rock to try the Pig+ Fig cafe. REALLY glad we did! I wanted to try the carne Adovada soup, and they gave me a taste. It was delicious, but too spicy for a wimp like me. So, I had a bowl of the tomato soup, and I think it was called the pig and fig sandwich. The soup was out of this world, and the sandwich was Gluten-free - and oh-so-delicious. My b-i-l had the black bean soup (hearty and tasty) and the same sandwich I had, on regular bread. My hubby had the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was a huge portion and he loved it. I had a flourless chocolate torte and they split a piece of chocolate cake. So, we had a good variety of foods and didn't have one single complaint about any of it. The staff were very friendly, making the entire experience very enjoyable. I definitely recommend the Pig+Fig Cafe.

Our experience exceeded our expectations! I had the special....chicken fried chicken with green beans and mash potatoes and sausage gravy that had clearly been taken up 2-3 notches! Most excellent! My wife was looking for some soup to warm her as the weather had taken a nosedive towards the teens and soup sounded like it would hit the spot! She ordered the Pig and Green Chile stew. It looked great....smelled great....but 5-bites into the stew and she realized she wasn't prepared for the heat of the green chiles! Okay, so we're rookies. This was our 2nd day since moving to the area to be nearer to grandkids. No major problem! I re-ordered a quiche for my wife and took the stew in a to-go cup. We will use it as a base for our own version of Green Chile stew. We'll place it in a larger pot of ingredients and add a cup of sour cream to help reduce the overall heat of the stew. A P+F staff member shared this tip with us. Said, she was a native-NM resident and did this when she got something too hot. So, be sure to ask about chile heat levels if you're not use to them. Or, have a back-up plan like we did! No need to let this be a spoiler....we improvised, adapted and overcame this little side-adventure! The staff were very concerned about our dining experience and did their best to try to make it a positive one for us. They succeeded! We learned a very important lesson....ask about foods in advance. Again, the staff were very hospitable, friendly and fully vested in their work; combine this with fresh and favorable food-you have just won the game!! We...

The atmosphere of Pig and Fig is all at once cozy, cute and inviting. The food was delicious and does have some room for improvement. I've had the brussels in two seasons, the second time the ones used were too large for flash frying and didn't get crunchy; the sauce was overly sweet and thick, I couldn't taste the spicy, and too much for the amount of brussels. The gazpacho was amazing, fresh and the perfect of amount of cucumber crunch. Some of the days it was not consistent and had too much sherry. The veggie breakfast burrito was enormous and delicious, especially with the goat cheese mixed in. All of the pastries made in house are perfect; I would love to see in-house made croissants. I love the idea of the box lunches and can't wait to try them though I would love a veggie option.

I did not like the oat milk drinks, mostly because the oat milk used is sweet and higher sugar milk alternatives end up frothing instead of foaming and the drink is overly sweet. The coffee was ok but could be made a bit stronger.

I think having a separate line to order just pastries and coffee would be a huge help especially when it is very busy. The staff are very kind and welcoming, even when they are running around. Some of the hardware in the bathroom needs fixing (locks) and generally could use a little love to have it match the rest of the...
