I was camped up the river at Buckskin State Park when I decided to drive my boat down for an early dinner. No trouble parking at the floating dock. The place was somewhat crowded for a Saturday at around 4:30. The music, which was mostly country, was loud, as were the people inside playing some sort of bar game. Although there’s plenty of seating outside on the floating docks, there’s no real table service; instead, you order and pay at a window inside the building and they bring your food out later. I ordered the prime rib special, got a drink at the bar, and waited outside on the dock near my boat. The drink was fine an reasonably priced. The food took a long time to arrive and when it did, it was on a styrofoam plate with plastic fork and knife. No napkin, salt, pepper, or the horseradish I’d requested when ordering. The food was average and I would definitely not order anything other than bar food there if I ever went back. This is apparently one of several party spots along this stretch of the river. It’s unfortunate that inconsiderate go-fast boaters like to scream by the floating docks, sometimes as close as 50 feet away, to get the docks and boats rocking...
Read moreFive dollar breakfast was yummy, veggie tacos were really good! Breakfast jello shots were super good! Great customer service at bar and grill! Dog friendly! Only reason they get a 4 star is because of all the cobwebs on the tables and chairs. Management should take a moment to make sure this is addressed every morning.
Bar stools could also use new covers but not a big deal. Also lots of persistent flies. Perhaps invest in a zapper??? Overall great way to enjoy breakfast on the water! Pl UPDATED breakfast is now a six dollar breakfast, which is still a good price for the meal. They changed the potatoes to frozen hash browns. We ordered their new drink that comes in a cute plastic Mason jar, one was enough two would would have left us there for a couple of hours lol. We ordered salsa with our breakfast and it was yummy!!! They offer a veggie burger that is a black bean burger, which is a black bean patty which was a nice option for our vegetarian family. NOTE TO VISITORS this is NOT a full service so you do have to walk up and order, but they will bring...
Read moreGreat staff, very personable and friendly. That is one of the most important things for us when we go to a restaurant/bar, the staff and their behavior. The very large bar overlooks the Colorado River between AZ & CA, you can also walk down a ramp to a floating dining area and sit in the sun or shade. The menu is huge, from breakfast to dinner and beyond. But they run out of stuff a lotand have many excuses...we ordered winds ..."we're out of wings", ordered fries "out" ordered onion rings "out"... The draft beer wasn't working.. bottle & cans only. T- shirts.." we're out of that size" They did have wine & all the alcohol you would expect at a bar. They often have live music & we've heard some very good bands here along with some hideous Karaoke..hahaha!. People can tie their boats up and visit the bar from the river side, or drive to the place from Parker. If you can deal with the " we're out of" it's a fun place to go on the...
