UTE Crossing Grill — Restaurant in Four Corners States

Went here for Valentines Day dinner. We forgot that places usually have valentines only menus and so we were expecting to see the normal menu but didn’t, which I will admit is on us. We got there at about 6:30, they let you seat yourself which was fine with us but seems less professional on their, then we were told that they are all out of meat (steak) and so the only remaining option was a Indian taco, so we just got that. It was a very sad Indian taco, extremely bland flavor, mostly beans with a tinsey tiny bit of hamburger, half a leaf of lettuce shredded into a few pieces and some onion. We decided to try to the strawberry shortcake, which was disappointing as well, the frosting and cake part was good but the jelly stuff in it wasn’t and it tasted like the whole thing had been frozen and then thawed in a hurry. As we were getting our cake brought out to us, a different waiter brings what? Two big steaks right past us to the table next to us, I thought they were out of those? I really don’t understand why we were told they didn’t have any of that and then a few minutes later we see that exact food come out to a different customer, maybe they reserved a steak dinner and so the kitchen saved it for them? I’m not sure. The waiter was slow to come and ask if we wanted dessert and bring us our bill when we were done. It was a very dissatisfying and rather irritating meal, not sure if I want to come back again.

That being said the small sized salad bar was good and the one soup still available was good. The waiter was very kind and you could tell she felt bad. If not for these three things, I would say this review would be zero...

This restaurant is beautiful, relaxed, and cozy. Our service was excellent (thank you Pamela and Michelle!), food was delicious, prices were fair, and the portions were generous. I got the bison burger on fry bread, and onion rings on the side. It was delicious! And on the fry bread it was essentially two hearty burgers. Food took an appropriate amount of time- it's not a fast food restaurant, so they take the time to actually make quality food, but I never felt neglected. We will definitely make this our lunch stop every time we...

Wait staff were super friendly. We went for Friday date night and got some great burgers. Mine was a buffalo burger on a fry bread. Never seen anything like that before. Totally delicious too. I ate the whole thing. Just couldn't stop. There isnt a lot of places to eat around here. And nothing as nice as this place. I will eat here again. And again. And probably again.
