New trip to the steakhouse last night. It's finally open again after a year of being closed due to Covid. I made our reservations through OpenTable and was able to easily add the reservation to my calendar. Still a great place to go. Staff is very attentive, our wait staff last night was Rochelle who took great care of us. For appetizers we had calamari and the special beef skewers. I've written about calamari below. The skewers were tender and very well flavored. Our main dishes were the swordfish special and prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes. For dessert we had pinon pie. I have never heard of pinon pie more seen it anywhere. It resembles pecan pie in flavor and appearance with the local flavor of pinon nuts. 2019: Just a Saturday night date: we started with with salad for two, hand mixed at the table side, calamari lightly battered and delicious. My wife had bacon wrapped scallops on a bed of polenta, I had surf and turf. Everything was excellent, steak was melt in your mouth tender and Dominic was an excellent wait staff. Sorry no photos, all we had were empty plates. 2018: Zenith Steakhouse. Upper scale, so expect $50 or more per person even without drinks. The steaks are excellent and if you have an occasion to call ahead for some kind of special dessert, they have a phenomenal pastry chef.

Finally got to go to Zenith after researching flagstaff Steakhouses! All my research showed that Zenith is one of Flagstaffs top picks for steak, so for my birthday we decided to go try it! And it was as awesome as I expected from the reviews. The New York Strip, with a pearl cabernet demi glacé and Blue Cheese Mouse Was amazing! My wife had the HOKKAIDO SCALLOPS with Saffron rice, as was recommended by our great server, Orlando, and it did not disappoint. And to finish off the night, a Pine Nut pie and ice cream and Cheesecake that was amazing!!...Great service, pleasant staff and beautiful accommodations made my birthday dinner a great night and I'm so glad we made that choice! We will definitely be returning to this great Flagstaff Spot! Fun Casino and Beautifull views makes Zenith a fun destination place for great Food and entertainment!

Went here for something special on our anniversary and we loved it. This place is a hidden treasure in Northern AZ. We were staying in Flagstaff and deciding between here or something in the Sedona area, and ended up very happy we picked this. The chop salad was excellent, like they harvested it moments before they brought it to us. The cocktail sauce with the shrimp was freshly made too and delicious. We both loved our Navajo Beef too. Super moist filet. Lobster was also excellent. Only think we might have done different was to share the potato as both the baked and garlic mashed were enormous. Lots of leftovers taken with us, but that's ok in my book because I think I enjoy the meal equally the second time.

Very disappointed in the food at this restaurant. My friend and I wanted to experience a fine dining restaurant for the first time, we were on a road trip when we decided to try zenith. I gotten the Escargot for my starter and the Short Ribs my entree, my friend gotten the calamari for her starter and the halibut for her entree. I have never tried escargot before but I have been curious about the flavor and texture of the ingredient and wanted to give zeniths dish a try. To say I was disappointed in the escargot dish zenith presented was an understatement, although the dish looked appetizing it lacked in flavor. I’m not experienced with escargot as an ingredient but I do know flavor and this dish is NOT it. I believe they need to rethink this dish maybe add other elements to it to up the flavor and maybe rethink their approach on how the escargot is prepared. It tasted like it was boiled in butter flavorless, no acidity to cut the fat in the dish or another element to take it away from the one note that it was and that note is butter, it was a dish of snails, mushrooms, bread and butter and that’s all you tasted nothing else. The short ribs tasted reheated the only thing that tasted remotely fresh was the vegetables on the side and they seemed like an afterthought when it came to seasoning. I believe the carrots need more caramelization and the broccoli didn’t go with the dish at all. My friend’s halibut was very dry, the rice that was served under the halibut was mushy and hard at the same time. Idk who the line cooks that worked that night or even if the chef was present to check the quality of the dishes before it was served. If there was a chef there that night and they allowed this type of quality of food to be served, they shouldn’t be working in a fine dining establishment. The calamari and crème brûlée were the only highlights of the night the rest was a disappointment. I want to clarify the food wasn’t disgusting, it was edible my friend and I did eat our meals, but for the price and for it being branded as a fine dining establishment it wasn’t up to par in my opinion. Our fine dining choices were between Zenith and Tinderbox, we now know for next time if we are to choose a restaurant that has 128 reviews to 666 to not give the 128 review restaurant a chance and go with the one with 666. The waiter was nice and attentive very...

I’ve been looking for a good steak house in Flagstaff. My husband and I come up to Flagstaff every summer for 5 or 6 months from Phoenix and finding good food is difficult at best. I don’t know why I didn’t think of checking this place out before, since we come to the casino a couple times in the 5 or so months we stay up here.

I ordered the shrimp cocktail as appetizer, and oh my gosh was it good, 4 of the biggest, fattest, most delicious shrimp I’ve ever eaten. My husband ordered the filet mignon, cooked perfectly for him, and a loaded baked potato. When other reviews say the sides are big, they were not joking. The baked potato was very big, and its the first time I’ve ever seen so much melted cheese in this potato. The extra’s to make it “loaded” ie: bacon, butter, chives, were served in little cups on the side so you could have as much or as little as you wanted. He never takes left overs home, but this steak and potato was so good, we left with enough for him to have a lunch the next day. I wanted seafood so badly, which is how I found this place, i googled searched where to find good seafood in Flagstaff, AZ - So i ordered the lobster tail, and the 6oz filet mignon. I ordered my filet medium rare, had the lobster tail poached in butter, and garlic mashed potatoes. I can honestly say, I have never had a better piece of lobster in my life, soft, flavorful, delicate, absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection. The steak was so tender I could’ve cut is with a butter knife, and the flavor was perfect, literally melt in your mouth and the garlic mashed potatoes did not disappoint. We did not order alcohol, I had water, & I believe my husband had tea.

This is not the cheapest place to eat, but you get what you pay for, I’ve eaten at many an expensive restaurant in my time, and this rates up there at the top for best food, along with great service.

They had a pianist playing in the bar area, not loud, just enough to enjoy and add to the atmosphere. Overall if give this place a 10 out of 10. Our, food did take a bit to arrive, and they weren’t overly crowded, however it was very well worth the wait.

Highly recommend you give this place a try, if you are in the Flagstaff area. They...

From the moment I asked about reservations & took a self guided quick tour of this Steakhouse, I knew we had to dine here before our weekend was over! It was perfect in everyway; being greeted promptly, special of the evening was told to us and a fabulous wine list to look over. Ordered the stuffed mushroom for an appetizer and although they were plated stunningly they were just OK. Onto our entrees; I ordered the petite filet, med rare, and it came out grilled perfect with a rich pearl onion demi Glace on the side. My husband ordered the Rib Rye med rare to rare, it was absolutely amazing; the sear on the outside and perfect temp., Onto our a la carte sides: Baked Potato that was dressed in rolled salt and crispy, butter & sour cream, Lobster Mac & Cheese that was creamy and loaded with chopped mushrooms & lobster with a wonderful crispy topping of more cheese & buttery bread crumbs and Creamed Spinach, my absolute favorite. This was fresh whole leaf spinach sautéed with garlic in a fabulous cream sauce, it was exquisite! And yes we had plenty of side, leftovers, our steaks we finished! We were checked on thruout the meal and service was spot on. We wish more people would've been dining but we also sat at the bar due to sports being on. Onto dessert: they had 5 selections, all eye popping appealing but we regrettably ordered one, lol! It was insanely tantalizing delicious- a rich dark chocolate hard shell covered mouse cake with finely chopped chocolate cookie crumbs, a dollup of whip cream n a sliced super fresh strawberry. I say regrettably on only ordering one because we were so full we came upstairs n relaxed and an hour later we said- God I'd eat that dessert right now, again!!! This dining experience was one we'll take the 2 hour trip for and gladly make a weekend outta it staying...
