La Mixteca — Restaurant in Frankfort

We came for a lunch/dinner so we expected some traffic but arrived to a very quite establishment. Service at the beginning was fast to get our drinks, but hesitant on our food order. We ordered a couple shots when they arrived to take our order. 20 mins later our food arrived steamy and was quite delicious. We generally order at least 6 items to try when stop by new places. Parking is limited but within walking distance if not out front or on the side. We always try new places so it really takes alot to bring us back for 2nds. This family deserves every bit of praise they get!!! I absolutely love their food and how hard they work! I’m so proud of the whole family for chasing the American dream and starting their own restaurant!!! I tried the birria taco and an asado gordita, and both were delicious! The gordita was perfectly crunchy, had plenty of meat, and was full of flavor.
