Bad experience POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, NON FRESH FOOD and will DEFINITELY SCREW UP YOUR ORDER.....for the second time here. I was hungry and tired, got off work and decided not to cook but bought McDonald's for family of 5. I ordered $6 big Mac deal, $6 quarter pounder meal, 1 $1 mc chicken sandwhich with $1 small fries, and a 10pcs chicken strip meal $12.99 that my daughter and l was to share with an additional small fries $1. I ask that everything be FRESH so l was willing to wait OK, we waited 12mins. My order was $38. I couldn't understand why so much, they said taxes. They repeated my order back and noticed the guy said an extra mc chicken sandwich, so he corrected it and gave new amount due $37, still seem very high for what l ordered, anyhow l got a huge bag everything cramed in, and right on I noticed l was missing two fries. They took the bag and the manager gave me two med fries instead of small. I was so hungry l didn't care about the price. Got home took everything out they had there was a 10PC CHICKEN NUGGET I DID NOT ORDER AND AN ADDITIONAL MC CHICKEN SANDWICH $7.99 I DID NOT ORDER so that mean he rang my for 3 when l ONLY ordered 1 and took off 1...all this the guy never repeated when l ask him to repeat my order back. Here is the killer, my 10 pc chicken strips were OLD STELL and HARD and the fruit punches were COMPLETELY WATERED DOWN...l called and explained the situation and that l was over charged and the food l did order was old...l also explained l was car less and would bring it back tomorrow morning. I was told l was talking to the manager a white guy. But told me the only way I'd get a refund or exchange was to bring back the food. First off l wad hungry and so l ate the fresh chicken nuggets l didn't order and left the old chicken strips....well when calling this morning before going back the white lady l spoke with said I COULD NOT HAVE SPOKE TO A WHITE GUY AS MANAGER BECAUSE THERE IS NO WHITE GUY MANAGER AND GAVE ME A HARD TIME REFUNDING MY MONEY and was very very RUDE.....NEVER GOING BACK THERE!!!!! JUST GET ORDERS RIGHT and STOP giving OLD...
Read moreMcDonalds is McDonalds. This one is close to home, so you know when I need coffee or some food to take home... The tricky part is getting IN there. It's on the SW corner of 30/Lincoln Hwy & Harlem Ave. If you're coming from the North go through the light, pull into Walgreen's and zigzag your way to McD. If you're coming from the South, take the left turning lane through the light and stay in the left lane. Take the first left-turning opportunity. Be careful with this lane, as in, take your half out of the middle unless you meet another car. This lane is barely two-cars wide and if you wander too far south you will find yourself off the lane and axle-deep in whatever the open field is offering today-mud, slush, ice. You get the idea. Also be careful as you enter McD's itself. There is usually a big puddle that will give you a farmer's carwash or a turn at the ice skating rink. Coming from the East, go through the light, then follow coming-from-the-South's instructions. Coming from the West, you'll probably miss the unmarked lane, which is just as well, turn in at Walgreens and head west to find them. They recently upped the drive through to two lanes but they should have saved enough out of the remodeling budget to PUT A GUARD RAIL on that skinny lane. The drive-through have never got my order wrong. The window staff are usually pleasant, except for the cashier who looked like she just got out of bed and really wanted to be back there. The window staff have the best manicures per store throughout the...
Read moreCrew members and food have never been an issue for me. This is a HR complaint and intended for those considering working at this location or sending your young adult as a first-time job. I work full-time elsewhere but was looking for additional hours on my off days. After my interview I had my son cancel his interview which was later in the day because I would never want him employed under the person I interviewed with. I was scheduled for an interview at 8:00 a.m. The staff sent me to a different McDonald's upon arrival. After going to the other McDonald's and being sent back to this one, the manager on duty blamed the other location and had me sit down for an interview. Aside from him being completely unprepared, the 2nd question he asked me was MY AGE. This question was completely out of place as it was not intended for background checks or any other job-related reasons at this place in time. I was puzzled and caught off guard which was clearly being expressed on my face because his NEXT reply was "oh! no, it's okay, nothing to be ashamed of." After I let him know my availability (which was also indicated in my application) he ended the interview abruptly letting me know "If I have to work weekends I require my staff to work weekends". This manager needs additional training in the hiring process. This experience was my worst interview ever. It left me feeling upset, hurt, and bewildered that this is what the generations after me will have to work with....
