Had reason to come to town for business/politics this last week. The a.i. recommended it to us. It was right. Walking up to it, I didn't look the way we imagined it would. Inside it was nice, a little old, but nice. And the people were very nice, and that makes a difference always. The food was good; the waiting service was fantastic, and I can't say enough good things about them. The beer was affordable, and the bar was nice. It's laid out really well. The bathrooms were old, but clean, and clean is all anybody cares about. They were old men talking about social security, a young family eating when we left, some young blue collar workers (construction I bet) ate at the bar. That kind of mix tells me it's a popular place, and it's very comfortable. And that's a lot.

TT has been our waitress one time, and we haven't been back since. She talked horribly about our table and used words that I was embarrassed for my child to hear. She cussed, and was awful. As business owners, my husband and I have been more than loyal to the office pub, but we will not be back until we catch word that TT is gone. Read moreIf you ever want to go to a bar like Cheers, then stop on by! After a couple of visits, everyone will know your name, or at least know what your "usual" drink is. (By the way, the drinks are definitely not watered down).
The food is traditional American comfort. I've eaten there a few times at this point and haven't had a bad meal.
