Worst experience ever. My Maid of Honor wanted to do a wine tour for my bachelorette party, in adams county. She called all wineries to let them know how many people we had, what time we would be arriving and to request setting up some form of a reservation to help the staff. Boyer Cellars noted that it was fine, not to worry as they do not do reservations. It was our first stop, we were all patiently waiting at a table so as not to take up the bar space from the few patrons that were already there around noon. A lady with short hair came to us with tasting sheets and noted she would be "right back to give us instructions", luckily my bridesmaid lives in the area and knew how many samples we could have and for what amount so we filled them all in and put our names on them. This was all about 15 minutes + from time the woman came to our table to time my Maid of Honor took the tasting sheets up to the bar to ask for directions. The woman said she had to serve the bar first, that it would be at least 20 minutes. Please note that some of the people now at the bar where not there when we arrived 15 minutes earlier. Due to being on a strict schedule to respect the other wineries we could not wait a total of 35-40+ minutes for a quick tasting. I have never been so disappointed in customer service in my winery experience, I have done the finger lakes, leighigh valley trail, susquehanna trail and have spent tons of time at Hauser on days where they are packed. I have never had to wait or feel unnappreciated as a paying customer. I would also like to mention this is not my first bad experience, I also was very unimpressed during my friends 30th birthday that was held there - they were non attentive and seemed annoyed although they worked with my friends husband to set it up...they can't handle large crowds - don't go if you are looking to be waited on or enjoy time...

I recently hosted my daughter’s birthday murder mystery lunch at Boyer's Cellars with a group of young adults, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. The staff created a relaxed and welcoming environment, making sure we felt comfortable and attended to throughout our visit.
One of the highlights was how much the teens appreciated the laid-back vibe. They repeatedly remarked on how chill the workers were, which added to the overall enjoyment of the day. It really made the atmosphere feel more like a gathering with friends rather than just a dining experience.
In terms of food, we ordered a variety of pizzas and appetizers, and everything was delicious! The flavors were spot on, and the portions were generous, perfect for our group of 14. The accommodations made for our small party were seamless, showing their commitment to customer satisfaction.
I can envision Boyer’s Cellars as a great venue for an adult game night. With wonderful options for wine and cider flights available, it’s an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy some fun with friends.
Located on a tranquil road in Apple Country, the scenery surrounding the venue added to the charm of our gathering. If you’re in the area or looking for a unique place to celebrate an occasion, I highly recommend checking out Boyer's Callers. It's a hidden gem that combines great food, excellent service, and a...
Read moreWould not recommend. We had been to several wineries, distilleries and cider houses on our trip and never encountered the rudeness and disrespect we did here. Diane was our bartender or whatever you want to call her. We arrived at 2:30 and the place opened at 2:00pm yet nothing was set up and we were told to wait 3 times before we were asked to go down to the “farmers market” (more on that in a minute) and “by the time you come back I’ll be ready for you” we were told. Yet, she wasn’t. She was placing beers into a cooler and apparently that was more important that her paying guests/customers. So we did. The “farmers market” was a big room, probably a barn at one point, and had some bottles of salsa and sauces (not their own) and some baskets of over priced fruit. So we return 15 mins later and she (shockingly) isn’t ready. Eventually, we get to do a tasting which we wanted to share a cider flight. She told us she couldn’t let 3 of us share a flight which seemed ludicrous bc why she cares about how we split our paid for 1/2 pours is beyond me. But still we did our tastings and she did warm up but she was nasty and rude in the beginning. We were planning to do a cheese plate and grab a few drinks glasses but decided not to because she was so rude. Also, ciders and wines are not theirs so really not worth...
