Chilo Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Franklin Township

A wonderful little place!

I tried several of their items, and all were excellent! The Big Fish sandwich was really big and delicious, and my favorite had to be the chili dog! They use a house-made recipe for the sauce, and it was the best hot dog sauce ANYWHERE, and they also have the best root beer! The breaded mushrooms were great as well, and their fries were perfectly cooked, and they have excellent sweet tea.

They offer a small indoor eating area, but the outside dining area was quite pleasant, and the tunes were a lively Y2K mix, and the staff were friendly, and I look forward to returning to this wonderful...

We were out for a drive on Easter Sunday since we did not have any family gatherings to attend. We both thought an ice cream cone would hit the spot and low and behold the Chilo Dairy Bar appeared on the right. The open sign was lit and there were several motorcycles in front. We went in and were helped by the friendly staff. The cones were wonderful as we ate them in the car. While there, about three more cars pulled up and ordered. This dairy bar is amazing! The prices are good and the recipe they use for the soft serve is one of the best I've had. The pizza is pretty good although I'd order it well done but I know some people like doughy pizza crust. They actually chop up the bananas for banana splits here and that's a real plus for any dairy bar. The fountain pops are always cold, crisp, and refreshing after a long stroll through town. There is a park a 2 min drive or like 10 min walk away from the dairy bar chili...
