Fat Angelo’s in Waynesburg is my now go-to for pizza night. Previously, and sometimes just to switch it up a bit, we were faithful to another locally owned and run pizzeria whose food still is very good, but is no longer my preference. Fat Angelo’s red sauce is amazing. I love it. All the food I’ve tried on their menu has been really good, with the exception of their fries. I don’t much care for the style of fries but they aren’t awful or inedible. In the beginning, it was often hit or miss with being pleased with their food because I think it was because it was still new and employees we’re new or whatever. The service has always been very nice. I’ve not had any problems with how I was treated and only had an issue once with the food itself and it was because of the website at the time being kinda wonky and has since been updated. I was supposed to be reimbursed for that time after speaking to an employee about the problem I had he’d agreed to reimburse me for the cost of the food and said it wound be refunded back to my payment method but I just looked again and that was over two years ago and yep, I still never received that yet. But, the food for the past 8 or so mos has been consistently great food every time. The last time, this past Saturday, we ordered just some pizza and cheesy garlic breadsticks and I ask to have them bake everything for another minute cause I like it a little more than done than not enough and it was the best pizza I think I’ve had in ten years. Great job Fat Angelo’s. Best part about picking up ur food is the silver mine machine while I wait. I usually end up standing there and playing for way too long and my stuff is no longer hot when I get home. But...
Read moreExcellent! Excellent! Simply excellent! This is hands down the best calzone I have ever eaten! All others have been decent at other restaurants. Typically parts of the crust is burnt or tough/crunchy. However, Fat Angelo's knows how to do it. The crust was baked to perfection through and through! So good, I even found myself eating the corners where there is no stuffing! I know I'm not the only one that only eats the middle usually because you only care about the cheese, meat/veggies and sauce inside!
They have a few set menu options, but of course you can create your own. I was recommended to try the hot honey carnivore, I believe it was(I know it had hot honey on it for sure), and it was simply delicious! I recommend the small size as MORE than enough for one.
This was my first time visiting, but if I'm ever in town again, I know what my first stop will be! Perhaps I may try a pizza or something else, but admittedly, I am a slave to getting the same thing again when it is perfect. Why mess up a good...
Read moreLiterally some of the best food from a pizza place I've had, and I live in Pittsburgh. We have Fiori's Pizza and Calientes, some of the best places I've tried. But this place man, wow. Dad and I are impressed thoroughly with Angelos, I dont know why people gave you poor reviews. Solid food, you can taste the freshness. Steak hoagies, among the top I've tried. The pizza, toppings cheese dough sauce all fresh and delicious. The dough was most impressive, it has a light crunchy exterior and fluffy tasty interior. I hope the Angelo's in Pittsburgh is just as good, because this place is great. Pricey, but the freshness, taste, and qualify really make up for it regardless of the low iq people giving poor reviews. If they only knew how good of a place this was comparatively to the competition. They would have given 5 star only reviews. I've had bad food from pizza shops, and this was...
