Great selection of food and ice-cream. From Burgers and fries to custom made sundays J & D is a great place to stop for some friendly Pennsylvania hospitality. Pricing can be reasonable if your selective about what you put on your ice-cream Sunday. Don't pile on the toppings if you want to keep the cost down. Food pricing is not like other fast food chains. It is a roadside quality stand so expect the same pricing. It is also near Knobels so it's a great break from the hustle and bustle of the amusement park. Right across the street is camping by the same company. Didn't stay there because it is right next to the highway. Perfect summer pit stop for ice cream treats and food too. Went on a Sunday evening (quite busy with a queue) however everyone was patient in line and the staff worked quickly to take orders and serve. Ice cream 🍦 came right away and they give you a buzzer to notify you when it’s ready. What impressed me most were the flavor options for soft serve. They infuse the vanilla for authentic tasting flavors. I had the peanut butter and added strawberry sauce and sprinkles. The prices were good for excellent portion sizes. I was visiting family in Pennsylvania and normally when we go to ice cream shops out of town I don’t get anything but I was blown away by the amount of options for me having gluten, dairy and egg allergies! I have never been so impressed in my life! The staff was so knowledgeable, nice and understanding about my allergies and I was able to get tea berry flavor for the first time in 10 years!! Their pizza was also amazing and safe for me! Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in...
