La Patrona — Restaurant in Franklin Township

Was so good I posted this in my township group for everyone to see!

Tonight we had dinner from Taqueria La Patrona and I just want rave about how delicious their food was! I got the steak tacos & my boyfriend got the Al pastor sopes. I moved here from Bridgeton where we had TONS of Mexicans restaurants to chose from & I have to say that Taqueria La Patrona by far had the best tacos I’ve had in a very long time. First and last time going to this place! I ordered for takeout and when I arrived, I was told my bill was 20% higher than I was expecting. When I asked why that is, they informed me that online has old pricing on the menu. I said the menu right here on your counter has the same pricing as online. She said yea but that doesn’t count it’s old pricing. I don’t know how a business could operate this way and not honor their pricing that’s literally on the counter in the restaurant. Ok, I'm a picky guy with Mexican food, and I'll only give a joint a five star if I believe they are really hitting the food mark. I had their homemade chips and guacamole and El pastor tacos, Mexican style. This place offers a very tasty corn taco by the way. Their chips, guac, and tacos were top of the line in flavor. The place isn't much to look at, but the food is bangin'. They are now on a growing list of recommended Mexican joints for me. Very nice cooking...
