Sunrise Creek Bagels & Deli - East Millstone — Restaurant in Franklin Township

While working on a funeral up the street at St. Joseph's, the three of us went here via a glowing recommendation of one of the family members. We pulled up and when we entered, we immediately met a few gentlemen who are regulars there and made conversation with us, making us feel very welcome. I had a pumpernickle bagle with egg whites and swiss and my friends had their own selections. The food was phenomenal, just as good, if not better than the deli's and cafes we eat at on a regular basis. The owners were friendly and talkative and were interested in the funeral business. It was a pleasure to stop in, and we will stop by here to eat whenever in the area. Due to my location being in Montgomery Township, I was happy to find out that they do have DoorDash. Really nice local hidden gem! I find the grilled chicken sandwich just delicious and fresh, packed with marinated chicken, tomato and onion without other greasy or high calorie add-on. The bagels are fresh and so generously prepared with A LOT of ingredients. I have never got that many garlics and poppy seeds in a well made bagel ever.

Classic Cream Cheese is my guilty pleaser must-have! It is just so delicious.

Owner is very attentive and friendly. I was late for pickup after the scheduled time and they reach out proactively to make sure food is not forgotten. The business seems to be really good and their bagels run out of stock easily in afternoon.

Was biking along the D&R Canal and saw this was a stone throw from the path and stopped for a late lunch. Despite being close to closing up for the day, they where more than happy to make my sandwich. Ordered the Market Hero - #29 (Roast Beef, Swiss, cole slaw & Russian. ) Overall, a decent sub that was tasty and filling and was reasonably priced. I opted to eat outside on a beautiful day. While no fault to the establishment, the bees also seemed to gravitate towards my food. Once again, no fault of Sunrise Creek. Definitely a local place that is worth checking out and will be future stops on...
