Placed an order over the phone and received the wrong order. The waitress taking my order couldnt even hear me due to the music being too loud in the background repeated my order more then 3xs to her still managed to get it wrong. When picking up my name wasnt correct due the waitress not putting it correctly but was confirmed by my phone#. The nachos i ordered were very dry and burnt I ordered extra cream and cheese and was charged extra but wasnt provided. The meat was very dry and looked old and was very hard to bite. The tacos were very greasy and the salsa didnt have flavor. When called to ask for a refund or to replace my order they stated i needed to go back there because they couldnt refund me my money for the order they missed placed. I explained to them I wasnt going to drive back there due to my job and it was during my lunch hour i picked this up. I explained to them it wasnt my fault they made the mistake. They didnt at all seemed concerned or cared that my whole order was wrong and inedible. I wouldnt complain if i was able to eat my food. This is the second time i tried this place forgetting why i havent returned and now i know why. Respectfuly DONT WASTE YOUR...
Read moreOrdered 6 tacos and a hibiscus drink from the food truck. They say $45. A little expensive but I understand the vendors also have to spend money to be there, so no big deal. After I pay she says “anything to drink?” i say “just the hibiscus” she pauses, goes to talk to someone and says “no that’s a taco” and i said “Oh im sorry, it says hibiscus under drinks, i don’t need anymore tacos” she says ok and hands me back $5. She then hands me 2 singular tacos that I apparently paid $40 for, in the photo. So I ask and she says again “so sorry” and hands me $10. I then said “hey we ordered 6 tacos (2 different 3 for $15’s).. did i pay $30 for 2 tacos?” she then runs and talks to someone again.. 5 minutes later we finally got the tacos we paid for. I tried to be as nice as possible because she was very young, but this was a little excessive. Attempted to charge $45 for 6 tacos and then acted confused when I questioned what...
Read moreI highly recommend Tacos Basilio, a fantastic small, family-owned Mexican restaurant. I know the family personally, and they are some of the most hard-working people I’ve met. They truly put their heart and soul into the food, and it shows in the quality and flavor.
If you go, you absolutely have to try the Tacos Al Pastor—they’re my favorite! The beef rib plate and the Camarones Al Ajillo are also excellent choices. The food is consistently delicious, and you can tell they take great pride in making each dish taste amazing.
For a great vibe, visit on Fridays and Saturdays when they have a live DJ—perfect for enjoying a fun night out with great food and music. Tacos Basilio is definitely a hidden gem...
