Yianni's Greenwood Tavern — Restaurant in Franklin Township

Took our friends, 5 of us, here for supper tonight.

We walked into the dining room with reservations at 5:00. There was very little lighting and the dining room was totally empty. Stood there about 10 minutes. Nobody acknowledged us, so we walked to the back closet to the bar, which I was hoping to avoid, but nobody was waiting on n us out front. Again sat there till some guy said someone would soon be with us. Maybe the owner?? Didn't act too concerned we were there.

Music was very loud. We had to ask for it to be lowered so we could talk and not yell at each other.

The $17 fish was a joke, so small, not even enough to fill you up. Thank goodness we bought several appetizers...one if which they offered, but didn't have.

I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which included fried onions, bacon, cheese....mine only came with lettuce and tomato and nothing else on it. It was dry. Bun was not fresh. Had to ask for mayo. The waitress says she couldn't just the price because it was already in the system. She did offer to get me some bacon, but it wasn't the item I ordered which included other toppings, so I said no.

The waitress said she'd bring out our appetizers, and then our entrees. She brought our guest entree out with the appetizers. He left it sit (and it got cold), till the rest of the groups entrees came because he didn't want to sit there watching us eat while he would have had his finished by then.

Drinks were not filled up regularly. Waitress checked in on us one time.

It was just a very poor experience. Very disappointed. Wasn't worth...

Standing in the place of the [now closed Bobby A's], Greenwood Tavern is quite the surprise. Great food - wings, sandwiches, appetizers, etc. Great Sunday morning brunch menu. Availability of good beers and cheaper light beers, whatever your preference. A TouchTunes for the deck and patio area right off the highway, and a separate one inside for the indoor dining/bar area. The servers are the best - attentive and on it. This is a great pit stop for a quality bar menu and great times, or just a nice happy hour...

The food was awesome. I go there atleast once month on Thursday night for their wing night. The wings are great, the have close to 15-20 different flavors and they are inexpensive. The service is always great when I go there. You can eat in the dining room or outside on the deck if you have kids or you can eat at the bar if your over 21. No matter what u get to eat it will be tasty. All the employees are so nice n attentive to its needs. Alot times they remember who u are. Would definitely...
