Hometown Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Franklin

Came in as part of a huge party. I was the third person of about 30 people to order my food. I was the very last person to receive my order, a kids pepperoni pizza. It was pointed out several times to multiple staff members, very kindly, that I thought my order had been forgotten as my son had received his food, but I never received mine. I watched as a child was given the ingredients to assemble his own kids pepperoni pizza about 10-15 minutes after my order had been placed. He received his pizza back 20-30 minutes before I received mine AFTER having mentioned again that I thought maybe there had been a mix up. The owner insisted that my food wasn’t forgotten because he’d put in the order himself. And tried to tell me that food comes out in the order it’s put in. So why was my food not out at the same time as my son’s who was on the same ticket? And why did someone who ordered the exact same thing I did get his food half an hour before me? How were calzones, wings, 16” inches pizzas, 10” pizzas, and orders of fries, all prepared and served before my kids pepperoni pizza was prepared? Sounds like he didn’t forget at all. And since the owner was the one who “put it in himself”, I guess there’s no way a mistake could have been made. He refused to admit any error was made and charged me the same as if I was a typical satisfied customer who had received their order in a timely manner. Terrible. I’d not return if given the...

Our family was on the way home from family vacation. We found little gem of a place to stop for a bite to eat. First the place is beautiful, and clean. Farmhouse-ish. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and my husband got the Philly! Our children got the mini pony pizza. Once they chose their toppings, they were able to actually make their own pizza. For us, being on this trip and the kids being able to make their own gave them something to do, and it was a nice distraction to the hours we'd spend traveling ahead. It was their birthday yesterday, and they also had cake! I so wish we lived closer. I'd be there everyday! I highly suggest this place whether you're local, or on the road stopping for a bite to eat. They were amazing. Clean. Friendly staff....

I finally decided to try the pizza from Hometown and was very happy with them. I am editing my old review because of orders that were mixed up and ended up having to go to lagrange for supper. they refunded our money but I am now just getting home and it's 11:12 pm and have to be at work 4; 30 am they are going make a pizza on them but I didn't want to spend my few hours of Friday night running around for a meal. I think that the 9 pm Friday and 8PM Saturday is crazy. if you are thinking that I should have went earlier tonight that wasn't a option when you just got home from work. I still like their pizzas but I'm dissatisfied tonight when I just wanted something quick and watch a little TV...
