Wyatts is a family owned restaurant in Franklin that does breakfast from opening to close; they also do lunch. (6:30 AM - 2:00 PM) I have had both the breakfast and lunch on a few occasions. If you are like me, I love me some breakfast 😋. I had the Ham, Cheese , and Mushroom omelet with bacon, hash, toast and home fries. I absolutely loved it. The omelet was delicious and not oily like some places. The bacon was great not to salty and the hash was perfectly cooked with a crust; the way hash is meant to be cooked. I also had the burgers. Now I read a review someone saying the burgers are frozen and not great. Everytime I have had one, the burgers are cooked to order, juicy and seasoned perfectly. Absolutely no complaints from me. (Some people are never happy) If you want a $10 burger, go to a burger joint. If you want a diner style old fashioned type burger cooked on a flat-top, Wyatts has them, and they are good. The staff at Wyatts are very professional, helpful, and respectful. The staff are always smiling and make sure to always say hi. The restaurant itself is very clean, the tables are clean, windows, and floor. I grew up eating at a place just like this when I was a child and I am very happy a family like the Wyatts have brought back a place such as this. Stop by, relax and enjoy a great home cooked breakfast with fresh coffee from a great family owned establishment. I love it and I'm sure...
Read moreWent for a simple breakfast took 45 minutes. The people next to me were there for 45 minutes or longer before they received anything looking annoyed. Sausage patties were way overcooked left on the flat top (anyone who loves food knows) frozen potato patties that look like it came from McDonald's way overcooked it dropped in the frialator multiple times to heat it back up. Eggs weren't fully scrambled so it left a lot of the white to stay visible. But it's a simple breakfast right? So why complain, well when I wasn't satisfied I just gave a simple observation to maybe help them and I got thrown in my face that the cook has 30 years of experience well I've got a little over 20 and I would never use canned anything in any restaurant and expect anything but mediocre out come. You put the heart in it the customers sees and eats it. Soul and passion and a great establishment, doesn't require...
Read morewe were looking for a low key, local brunch place for about 20 of us after we were to bury my mother. I stopped in 5 days before to see if they could accommodate us; they were happy to help out, said they would make it work for us and that they did. They had our tables running smoothly - drink orders taken and no rush to order. Took our food orders and the team passed the slips off as the waitress kept writing. Food came out great, seamlessly you would NEVER know we just hammered that kitchen with 20 orders for one group! Everything was perfect, everyone was friendly and I could not have been more pleased with the experience....
