I used to come here all the time as a kid with my grandmother. Service and food was great then. As a family we used to love the fried chicken buffet. Since years has passed, this place has been declining rapidly. It’s sad to see that the love that was put into this place has disappeared. The chicken buffet sits longer and longer without changing out food. Last time I was there, the chicken was completely cold from being out for so long. Asked the waitress when they would be bringing out fresh chicken, and she said she was told that she can’t request more chicken to be cooked until what was already out has been eaten. The eggs seem to have changed as well for the breakfast buffet. They went from being amazing scrambled eggs, to what appears to be powdered eggs where when you chew them, you can taste the non mixed powder in your mouth. It’s just sad seeing this place decline throughout the years. People have been more scarce, and with that, comes with price increases to try and make up for the customers they’ve lost. Smh.    Read moreJust left the restaurant. Worst service and breakfast buffet I have ever had anywhere. My husband and I have eaten there quite a few times. Service has never been great but today was even worse. My husband got his food and then I went to get mine. A waitress finally came to out table while I was gone. When I got to the buffet table. There were biscuits but no gravy. The scrambled eggs were very little and looked like they had been sitting there for quite a while. There was bacon and sausage. They finally brought out gravy so I could put it on my biscuit. My husband was done eating by the time they got any more eggs out. I had to go to the counter to get a refill on my drink. We will not go back. Terrible...

Yes, I am spoiled by eating at places like Lamberts. The environment is like walking back into a 70's diner. You can have a small town charm feel and still keep the restaurant looking good. I stopped in another restaurant called Reifschneiders and was embraced with a very comfortable restaurant, good proportions, and awesome waiters. You can only pull so much profits out of a business until the money stops flowing and starts to trickle. The owner may not see it but their customer I believe do. Would I go back? Yep, I give them...
